  1. It would be very helpful for us if it was possible for managers to display the prices for a price query / new booking despite rate restrictions (for example MLOS).

  2. Automatic block on space prior to arrival and after departure, to ensure enough time to prepare space for the next guest. This is important for units or during peak periods, so that space isn't booked back-to-back when cleaning capacity is limited.

  3. extra bed in item to be added automatically when the room is booked for 3.
    Although we put in rate and room description that for the 3rd guest, extra £25 will be added for the extra bed, any prepaid rate plans debit the guest for the whole stay excluding the extra bed £25 per night. As a result, some guests refuse to pay the extra amount after having been debited.

  4. We invoice companies and often have to add a reference or Purchase order number (PO number.) currently this is only able to do as part of a travel agency booking. which means you have to assign an agent, add your reference number, delete the agent.
    would it be possible to add a generic reference field which is always available on the reservation screen.

  5. To expand on the new Group Blocks feature, I would love a simple Group Block Agreement form/report that summarizes the number of rooms blocked, the dates associated with the rooms and the nightly (pre-tax) rooms rate.

    It would have a customizable "terms" section where we can note cancelation policies, block release date etc and have a signature page for the client to sign.

    Right now we have to generate this outside of Mews, which creates additional work. Happy to send you a sample of what we are looking for!

    Which types of groups would you typically add "terms' for? For example corporates or leisure.

  9. when issuing a "rebate" the text rebate is given on each item line (should not be neccessary if the document type is "credit memo" (see a separate idea).
    When issuing a new invoice after rebate, the text rebate shows twice on each item line - that should not be neccessary.

  10. If a guest stays several night we would like the PDF to include the quantity and unit price.
    The MEWS invoice only shows the total at line level, then the guest must divide the line sum by qty of night to find the rate/unit price

    If staff have the access for reservation they can override the rate in the "new reservation " screen. Is it possible to add a special permission for this ?

  14. Although the name of the guest appears in the reservation details, it would be great to be able to add the name of the guest (as a placeholder) in the text and subject of the email for the "Booker Confirmation".
    For example:
    "Dear Isabel (booker),
    Thank you very much for your booking for Edward Wilson. Etc."

  15. When adding a product, it is automatically added to all booking engines. However, we offer different products in different booking engines (for example for certain events or retreats). Please enable to add or delete products to certain booking engines or to restrict products from other booking engines or rates.

  17. Once a guest purchases an additional product (wine, airport transfer etc.) along with making a room reservation, the Reservations department gets an automatic task.
    As the Front Desk is the department taking care of organising this, it would be useful if you could choose to which department these tasks get assigned to.

  18. Currently having a MLOS exception and maximum advance exception for close to stay restriction does not work.

    An example would be having a close to stay restriction for the Saturdays, except if they book 2 nights, OR if they book within 7 days before arrival (maximum advance).

    So what I want is a MLOS2 restriction for the Saturdays, but when it is 7 days before arrival, no restriction at all.

    It is probably a setup with an AND/OR rule.

  19. The possibility to have insight in the performance of specific e-mail types, such as the "After start e-mail". From a marketing point of view it would be useful to keep track of open rates for example.

  20. Ability to add attachments (photos/documents) to tasks. This is critical for Maintenance and Housekeeping operations as the assignee will be able to see exactly what/where the issue is. In addition, if this element is used for management to assign, track and review team tasks, the ability to add blueprints, schematics, schedules, etc. for maintenance is necessary.
