When there is a reservation that cannot be allocated and we fix the issue and leave the space available for it, it would be helpful to have an "allocation button" to just allow Mews to try once again to allocate those reservations in the red overbooked area, instead of allocating them manually one by one, and without having to use the Optimize Space Allocation button in the timeline (which could move other reservations that are not locked in place).

  4. In terms of standardization, there is no option to select name or short name, the short name will display on the timeline when the name does not fit. Same for all others screens on the PMS. Pending on how much space there is within relevant window, the space name could show in 3 different ways i.e "standard queen room" - "B1B" or even just "B" (for the timeline) if there is only 1 space within this category.

  6. Rather than having a long list all spaces, by making beds collapsible under their parent room, it will improve the user experience having a short list to scan through when making alterations.

  7. When creating a task, the task looks ordered and systematic with spaces between the different points and can even be numbered. But when printing the list, all spaces and numbering is gone and its all just one long sentence. Would be very helpful to have the printed list to look like the actual task description.

  8. Once a guest purchases an additional product (wine, airport transfer etc.) along with making a room reservation, the Reservations department gets an automatic task.
    As the Front Desk is the department taking care of organising this, it would be useful if you could choose to which department these tasks get assigned to.

  10. When you have regular or returing guests it is very unconvenient and unwelcoming that the automatic settlement failure emails are automattically send to the guest, even if the card is on file. Guests do not want to endlesy update theire details again and again and again as they are expecting that after a couple of stays everything is fine for them.

    Solution: allow the Mews Merchant to charge the card linked to the guest and not linked to the reservation.

  11. It would be great if there would be the option to add 'House use' on a recurring basis. (For example to block one room for a weekend each month, to make sure to have availability for VIP guests etc).

  13. Currently only manually added notes are shown in the reservations overview report. Please add the functionality that also the notes are shown that came with channel manager reservations.

    I was adviced to manually add the same note from the channel manager which unnecessary and error prone work not to be done manually. This should work automatically.

  14. currently you are able to look at the timeline on a monthly basis, but you are not able to do anything like you are on the "normal" timeline. one of the reasons you are looking at this view is to be able to move bookings.
    can that please be fixed?

I have been facing an issue with my timeline and task donuts as it does not gives me real time data and my timeline if i resolve the overbooking it still keeps on showing the red or orange line for overbooking so i need to log in again and then it gets resolve and this is what we are facing since 2 months and they are still working on the issue lol since 2 months and they will get back to us when they have something lol almost 2 months???

  16. When clicking on a specific unit, there is a section where you can see all the OOO that are scheduled for that unit and any future OOO scheduled as well. It would be nice to also be able to see what future reservations are scheduled for that unit, in the event we need to see which unit is available for an extended stay booking far out on the calendar.

  17. At the moment, when you need to allocate the rooms for the arrivals of the day, the display bar shows you ALL the rooms, even those that are out of service, occupied, or reserved. Which doesn't make any sense because there is way too much scrolling up and down to find a "vacant inspected room"

  18. Dans la partie de droite de la réservation, il sera plus facile de lire les produits s'ils étaient regroupés en une ligne. Pour des longs séjours la liste des produits est vite beaucoup trop longue.
    Par exemple au lieu d'avoir 9 lignes avec 1 produit, avoir 1 ligne avec les 9 produits

  19. Currently we can 'Create a Key' for a reservation that isn't inhouse. I suggest this button isn't available for team members to click until the guest is in house. There is a 'Check in and Create Key' button which can be used initially, then once the guest is in house the 'Create a Key' button can be available to click. This will prevent guests being issued a key without being checked in accidentally.

  20. since a couple of weeks, the timeline doesn't automatically adjust when you change the dates on a house use booking. you need to refresh the page all the time, which is quite annoying.
