  1. Status screen, an besides of just having the time/hour the check-out was made, couldn’t there also be some other kind of indication (like C/O) that the room/bed was already checked-out too?

  3. In the "Assign spaces to employees" window it is possible to set filters for space status like dirty, clean etc. It would be great if we can also filter arrivals, stay over and departures rooms on a specific day!

  4. In the Housekeeping App when a reservation has Arrived, the space turns to Dirty / Arrived and the time of arrival. We currently have reservations "Arrived" or "Arriving", but not an "Occupied" state for Housekeeping. This can be confusing for some housekeepers using the housekeeping app as the Arrived and Arriving look very similar. For most properties, if you have arrived, you are now "occupying" the space and therefore the space is now Dirty / Occupied. Possibly the tag for Arrived could be expanded to say Arrived / Occupied in a different color. The following day if the guest is…

  5. Housekeeping - assigning multiple employees (ie. 2) to the same space.

    Housekeeping would like to assign two housekeeping employees to the same room i.e. one for the bathroom and one for the remaining of the room.

  6. Would it be possible to change the offset for the Legionella status from 7 to 5 days?

    Bureau de Wit writes that a report must be made within 5 or 6 days so that flushing can be carried out early and at the latest within 7 days.

    This is required by law in accordance with - NEN 1006+A1:2018. This is the same for every hotel in the Netherlands. So automatically a notification after 5 or 6 days. Then you still have time to rinse in time.

  9. Housekeeping needs the information whether a child belongs to one or the other child category - in our hotel baby, kid or teen - housekeeping prepares a crib for a baby, a small bed for a child and a special place for teens - so they cannot work with the actual submitted informations.
    Please submit the child categories to the housekeeping reports.

  10. The functionality is already in Mews: it is used by the Hotels for Trees integration. In the Mews app housekeeping can click a button to tell the reception that the room has not been cleaned because the customer asked not to clean the room. The button is an icon of a doorhanger on it. When they click it the room status of this room has the same doorhanger icon next to it. We are using this integration in one of our hotels.   11. housekeeping staff's ability to set rooms in inspected.
    to be able to block Housekeeping staff to put room in inspected.
    HSK cleaners should only be able to put in dirty and Clean.

  12. At the moment in order to put a room out of order, you need first to reallocate all the reservations assigned to that particular space. It can take a lot of time, specially if it is a long period.
    It would be nice if Mews could automatically reassign those reservations to another space.

Currently if you have the mobile commander app installed and you are set to receive customer messages in Mews then you receive all messages as a notification on your phone from the mobile app. There isn't currently a way to toggle these notifications without just disabling the app from sending notifications entirely.

  14. For me Mews is all about cutting the extra manual work and automatize as much as possible. Having this in mind and that on a daily basis we use Mews Commander religiously so the FO and the HSK team know which rooms are cleaned it would be amazing to understand without having to manually insert the staff names on the status report who is cleaning which rooms and how long they take.

    Mews already stores all the information we need just does not have a way to push the data for analises.

  15. Until now we can lock the room one by one... It would be great if we can lock rooms by block and switch the room status easily. Now we must create, and delete to change the room status.

  16. As for hostel, it would be great to have each bed counted as 1 space, so that total space amount reflects the exact amount of beds.
    We have an option to book the whole room, but also single beds in dormitory.
    Currently, every room and every bed counts as 1 space.
    It is confusing as for now 8-beds dormitory is counted as 9 spaces (8 beds as 8 spaces + the whole room as a separate space)!

    Furthermore, changing the dorm status (dirty->clean->inspected) does not affect the status of beds, we have change the status of every single bed one…

  19. Nous avons inclus nos lits supplémentaires dans le système mais pourquoi n'est il pas possible de voir leur disponibilité jour par jour? Nous avons dû créer un Excel pour faire cela et être sûr de ne pas être en surbooking de lit sup. Merci

If you go in to the space status report and view different dates the responsible person is based on the current day responsible person (i.e. Housekeeping lady 1 is responsible for room 101 on 27/10//20, according to the report the same persons was responsible for room 101 on 25/10/20 even though housekeeping lady 1 was not working that day or had repsonsibility for a different room)

    Would be great if Mews could store data for the responisble person each day, so you can easily track who was responsible for which room on which date and maybe let housekeeping manager assign…
