  1. we had a comment from a guest who took objection over the fact he couldn't put in "british" as nationality. it comes up as "UK of GB...."
    could we get this changed please?

  2. It would be much quicker if a new customer can be added with an ID card when the guest is at the reception to check in. In that case the details wouldn't have to be filled in manually.
    Besides that, I don't know if it's our scanner or the Mews software, but it does some strange things with the cards sometimes. Making men women, reading expiration dates as a date in the past (1930-2030), not reading numbers, changing nationality, sticking first names together... Quite annoying and confusing for our accountant.

  3. Optional alert setting that sends an email or dashboard alert when a guest completes Online check-in or updates information in their profile. Most specifically to my desires would be to get alerted when a Creditcard has been added as we use this to indicate a guest would like to move forward with a held reservation & trigger when a guest is going to be allowed to enter their room.

  5. Please use ISO country codes. There are countries with code GB, and reports, bills, customer profile following comes out: United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
    It occupies 3 lines on an invoice; each report pulled in excel has a wide gap to type the whole country name.
    Please change system as I think most people working in hotels, hostels, campings, and so on, are very well aware of country codes such as: CH, IT, DE, GB, US, CI, ....

  6. in the reservationo verzicht you see, after the adjustment of the way of showing the tourist tax, now every day a new post of the tourist tax. This is not a problem with a short stay. but if a guest stays for 3 months it becomes a very long list and not really clear anymore.

  7. This is to have the team adjust the Mews scanner to default to Ms instead of Mrs when scanning passports of female guests (as most guests are Ms, to save time doing data entry)

  8. In order to have an immediate comparison on both of the names (reservation and CC cardholder) that would allow the perception of eventual discrepancies and/or fraud tentative that could cause Charge-backs.

  11. Since we are responsible of a lot of people somehow, would be nice to have the option to add an Emergency Contact in the registration card that they have to sign when they check in house. In case of incident, we can contact a family member.

  12. In case of Spain, we must introduce the data of the customer to send it every day to the police. We have an issue, the check in process is too long and many times hapend that not all customer's data is correctly introduced to the profile... Then the police report is not complete and the report can not be sent.
    Would be nice to can not save the data or finish the check in if the data is not completed.
    A good option would be to mark in red or with a * the necessary data this way when you…
