  1. Hello,

    the name "begleiter" is a confusing translation. It should actually be called guest name!!! In addition, the name (Kunde) customer is sometimes confused with campanion ("begleiter").

    Under group details all "guest"/ companion names" are listed. But above it sais "Customer/Kunde".

    Underneath all rooms are listed, but with the name of the customer not with the actual guest names..
    it is very confusing.

  4. It would be much quicker if a new customer can be added with an ID card when the guest is at the reception to check in. In that case the details wouldn't have to be filled in manually.
    Besides that, I don't know if it's our scanner or the Mews software, but it does some strange things with the cards sometimes. Making men women, reading expiration dates as a date in the past (1930-2030), not reading numbers, changing nationality, sticking first names together... Quite annoying and confusing for our accountant.

    I would like to suggest Mews add the "Stateless" Option in the Nationality list in order to be inclusive in case a guest is actually a Stateless person, to adequately communicate the guest data to the Police and to have more accurate data for our internal analysis

  7. We have long term residential guests who stay with us through a partner provider and who each sign a contract before they arrive - it would be great to be able to attach a copy of the contract to the guest profile so we can refer to it quickly and easily.

We have groups that stay that there is no one owner (as it has been booked by someone else) however we need each individual to register, the system does not send the email automatically as there is no main contact, having a tick option to send to individuals on the profile as preregistration/billing.

  11. With Covid restrictions we know all our arriving guests are New Zealand nationals, we would like an option to add a region so we can see better where our guests are travelling from, this would help us to run targeted ad campaigns and up our guest numbers

  13. WHY TO WE NEED TO MANUALLY ADD THE GUEST IN THEIR RESERVATION?

    IF THE GUEST MAKES AN ONLINE OR AN WALK IN RESERVATION FOR MORE THAN 1 ROOM WE NEED TO GROUP IT MANUALLY INTO EXISTING CUSTOMER??

    IF THE GUEST HAS MADE TWO RESERVATION FOR THE SAME DAY THE SYSTEM SHOULD ADD THE GUEST BY IT SELF.
