  1. Additional filters to the reservation report to compare online check in vs manual check in and online check out vs manual check out. Filters to view these stats by segment or distribution channel would be additionally helpful.

  2. Countless languages are usable in MEWS by default. This makes a selection, for example when creating profiles, sending confirmations, etc. very tedious.

    In our house only German and English are used and it would be great if you could deactivate the other languages via global system settings.

    This would greatly improve our processes

  3. When adding multiple reservations to one gast profile, it would be beneficial to copy paste all the tasks to the other reservations. Therefore, it would be beneficial to add more reservations to one task. or an option to copy and paste a task.

  4. as we deal with mainly long staying guests, they have from time to time a visitor joining them. currently we add the person and make a note to remove their profile from the booking when they have left.
    this means however that we have no proper record of who has stayed when where, which is not ideal.
    is there any way we are able to add separate profiles to a space and keep a record of the period they have stayed with us.

  5. Set the “email” field of a booking as mandatory in the customer profile. This information is extremely important in terms of customer interaction. Moreover a customer will be more willing to change an email address created by Booking or Expedia into its own personal email address.

  9. Please include in the action log, if an email has been sent to the guest via Mews ie. confirmation, quotation, cancellation etc.

    Now that we have to manually send confirmation emails, it would be greatly beneficial to be able to check if this has been done.

    Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We have recently released a feature that allows you to view the mail queue for the individual guests from the Guest profile in addition to the usual mail queue.


    You can access the mail queue on the guest level by selecting the guest dashboard and clicking on the mail queue icon on the top right hand side.


    Please note that mail queue is currently visible to admin level users. We recommend that you consult your manager in order to access this functionality.

  10. When you make a new reservation with a returning guest profile there comes a pop-up with important details about the guest.
    Just a note screan that we can fill in, about room numbers they prefer, if they have a dog, that they always want an extra pillow etc.
    That would be great.

  11. We were discussing the reservations bringing a pet and wanted to know if there is a way to add a pet indicator to the reservation screen when we add the pet free as a product? Just like if the guest is bringing children, there's a picture of a baby with the number of kids, or if its an adult with the person indicator?

    We were thinking this could potentially integrate with KnowCross and be a feature for the housekeeping and maintenance team.

  12. It would be helpful to have the companies in the "Guest in House" report.
    We have specific terms and conditions with companies, our staff would know directly if a person have specific conditions with the company on this report

  13. For regular guests that are coming every week the Check Out Mail After Stay is very annoying. We just want to send it to indivudual guests. It would be perfect to have an option in the guest profil to set up which Mails the guest should receive from our system.

  14. This is to ensure TA contracts are created when necessary and MAC identifier as well as all information within the profile are all correct / in line with the company standards.
    If a report can be generated then we can check all profiles that have been created by X employee are all correct. So far, there is no record/way to track when a new company/TA profile is created

  15. To be able to generate a report of duplicate profiles (All profile types) report. This will help in managing the merging process for individual profiles and at least flag the other duplicates that can not be merged ie company profiles.

  16. As we have many returning guests, we need to know which customer belongs to the same family. It would be great to merch Children to their parents and a wife to her husband and visa versa.

    Like this we get to know our guests better and the booking process for future stays will be even easier.

  20. Mews reporting only takes into account a COUNTRY of origin when filtering reports by ADDRESS. Most of the guests in North America are local guests. Therefore, address reporting is not insightftul for the local market.

    Having the insight on which city and state guests come from is extremely valuable in the US and Canada. Current ADDRESS filter is not sufficient for the Market in North America.

    To make this report sufficient, properties should be able to filter their guest address by:
    CITY
    STATE (US)
    PROVINCE (Canada)
    TERRITORY (US + Canada)
