  2. So we have tasks and we can filter them out with departments. But I think it would be a nice touch, when you are going to tasks, it would predict department you are assigned to, and will show this by default, without filtering it out.

  3. We need a waitlist for overbookings. Meaning if you are fully booked, you can put customers on a waitlist, as soon as there is a cancellation, the guest will be informed and offered a room. Thank you.

  5. Mews does not provide the number of check-ins completed using the Mews Operator, In the reservations tile on the Mews dashboard a number of statistics are displayed in a widget. It would beneficial to add the number of Operator / kiosk check-ins to this widget

  7. like when you are scrolling up / down you condense the number of spaces displayed on the timeline, you should also be able to do that with the number of days displayed. It would be great if you would be able to see at least one full month on the timeline (ideally would be at least two months!)

Mews Commander is a very versatile system, but as many actions are continually repeated and many pages are revisited throughout the day, this could be greatly improved for users with the introduction of keyboard shortcuts. Using these shortcuts, you could immediately access our timeline, reservation overview, batch checkout, and more.   10. When restrictions are in place (for example: minimal stay 2 nights) the internal user CANNOT see the rate on those given days. In fact when restrictions are in place the hotelier cannot see any of the rates. So when there is a WALK IN or a request the hotelier is flying blind. Therefore: even when restrictions are in place there should be an option that hoteliers or certain users can still see the rates of that day.

  11. Option to put different colours in blackground of the Room Numbers.
    Notes of Status of the Room. For example:

    101 in red means that "cot for baby inside the room"
    201 in green means that "separate beds are ready"

  12. Some categories we have are on the same level of ordering (or there is no exact ordering) which is tricky to manage in Mews as there always has to be an orden. E.g. in case of a room move to a different category (on the same level) it would actually not be an "upgrade" or "downgrade". Which makes it hard with the setup of a diffusive strategy

  13. Due to the actual situation we have a high interest in walk in numbers. At the moment there is possibility to get a walk in figure. It can be only assumed reservations for the same day are walk ins, but its not clear at all. Therefore we request a walk in origin code which can be much better tracked.

  14. Would be great if the system could automatically upgrade certain reservations to a higher room category under certain availability circumstance (that could be defined and edited).

    ie: If lesser room category is at 100% occupancy, the system would automatically upgrade some reservation to the higher room category, freeing up the lower category to be sold again.

  15. We get a lot of overbookings which are not really overbookings we just need to move rooms around to do it.
    Currently mews does not allow us to zoom out the timeline far enough to be able to do this. We have many bookings for more than 2 weeks so we cannot see the begginning and end of the booking on the timeline. This means it is impossible to move bookings around on the timeline to be able to fit in the 'overbookings'. this is going to be a huge issue for us if not fixed as we have this…

  16. The timeline simple detail is a great snapshot of reservation data, especially if you just need a brief overview to check something. However, this simple detail could be expanded to include some other important details or functionality, such as a summary for group bookings or a quick-edit feature to make changes or add notes.

    We are so pleased to let you know that your feature request has been released. The new smart simple detail has a wealth of information and can be accessed from the Timeline, Reservation overview and Customer dashboard.


    In addition to the above, it is also possible to check reservations in and out from the smart detail.

Using the assign drop-down, all rooms are visible.
