rate changes by changing date
if you want to extent a made booking, the price will automaticaly change. Also if you have fixed rates for a customer group, it changes to the daily rate, which is extremely wrong and not helpful.

How to discount a specific day in the week using restrictions
By now, Mews restrictions do not allow to set a specific day of the week you want to exclude. If you wish to make a % discount on Sunday night for example, you will have to close all other days on your restriction but travelers will not be able to book several nights including Sunday night. Very bad if you are looking to maximize length of stay and want to compensate those staying on Sunday.

improve conditional rate settlement triggers (Physical vs Virtual cards)
At the moment, if you set up a rate automation for OTA rates, the same trigger will be used for both virtual and physical credit cards. Ideally, there would be extra conditional fields in an "if this, then that" format. For example:
If Card type = Physical, then charge on confirmation
If card type = virtual, then charge on start dayThis conditionality format would also allow for less rate groups, and increased flexibility if other conditions are also created. It could be implemented with an advanced settings button to keep the current layout as simple as possible.

SERVERAL VAT AT THE SAME PERCENTAGE
It will be great to have the opportunity to have two differents VAT at 10%. One for food and one for accomodation.

Pricing whole year at once
it would be really practical if we were able to set pricing/rates for the whole year instead of having to select a period of only a few weeks. Would save a lot of time.

Allow relative price adjustment on each room category
Would like for the possibility to change the relatvive price adjustment on each room category. At the moment the only option is to use the same relative adjustment on all room categories in a rate. Example: Classic +10%, Deluxe + 20% etc.

Lowest Rate
One should be able to insert in the configuration the lowest rate to be typed when updating rates (BAR) so that no typing error can be made (for instance 9 instead of 99).

Functionality to allow Room Type Overbooking while maintaining total capacity of the hotel.

Restriction suite à un check-out et avant le prochain check-in
Pourvoir définir qu'un check-in ne peut pas avoir lieu avant un certain délai suite à un check-out.
Ce délai peut-être pour certaines catégories de logement ou juste pour certains jours de la semaine.Par exemple:
nous n'avons pas d'équipe de ménage un we, donc interdire les réservations avec une arrivée le dimanche si un départ est prévu le samedi.

Overriding Dependent Rates
Some of our rates are stand-alone during the week and dependent during the weekend. At the moment we have to ajust the weekend rates manually each time the base rate changes as mews doesn't support rate manipuliations on a daily bases per room type. We would definitely need the option to adjust dependent rates the same way as you adjust the base rate.

Minimum Price for Space Categories
Currently, it's unfortunately not possible to set a minimum price for a space / room category.
However, this would be very helpful if you have a set of rates that derive its price from another rate (called "base rate" in Mews).
Let's look at the following example: To create better long-stay rates, I created 16 rates. For every two days a guest stays longer, the guest will receive a (small) discount for the whole stay.
So, the rate is always derived from another (base) rate. I would like to be able to set a minimum price on a space category…

Have an allotment as part of the block feature recently released
MEWS currently does not support allotment.
For a property with a lot of allotments contracts in place throughout the year and some with release on different dates i.e 1 room on 2 days release, 3 rooms on 5 days release etc. this is not manageable through the current block feature as there can only be one release date. Hence, all allotments need to be entered as individual blocks (which could be a very large number rather than just one block covering the whole year), this is just not sustainable. Ability to Restrict Distributor
I would like the ability to Restrict Distributor (Mews online bookings), so the only way a reservation can be made is by a Mews user. I have my channel rates set-up in Rate Groups and am able to restrict my external channels as needed. However, the only way I can Restrict Distributor is by applying it to the whole house, which isn't always necessary or desired.

Rate set up to be linked to short name of base rate
we have several rates with the same name as we use them for different lengths of stay (i.e. corporate rate). we do not wish to display the minimum stay restrictions in the rate name itself.
however, when creating a new rate which is linked to the base rate (i.e. you get 28% discount for stays of 7 nights), it only displays the full name. this is really annoying as you don't always know which one to pick.
