  2. It would be great if we could promote products later in the checkout process. Being able to upsell products on the Summary or Details screen of the checkout process would be great.

  3. Over 80% of all customers leave a check-out before the order is finally completed. The reason for this is a lack of payment options. We want Mews to open up so that companies such as Paypal, Klarna, Vipps (for Norway) etc.++ can be integrated with the check-out solution in Mews' booking engine. The company "Dintero" collects all these payment solutions and is open to be integrated with Mews.

    This is critical for us, and especially in a market in Norway where digital payment solutions are so well implemented in the customer journey.

  4. It would be great if you can set a limit on bookable items. For instance a max amount of 3 for late check-outs or early check-ins. That way you can upsell without putting too much pressure on the housekeeping team.

  5. For a better customer journey, it would be very helpful to first choose date AND the number of persons per room, and then display all suitable rooms.

    That would make the online booking process f.E. for families much easier. Once Age based Product pricing is released, it would make the booking process of packages for families (f.E. with children Skiticket and adult Skiticket) much easier to be displayed.

    So the booking engine would work like this:

    Date & number of people -> room category -> Rate & Products -> Overview -> Details

  6. It should be possible to add multiple pictures to be displayed for products on the booking engine (Mews distributor). The pictures should be a carousel, displayed in the "Enhance your stay" section for add-on products.

  7. Hey team,

    It would be great if we can upload our own favicon on the MEWS distributor links.
    In this way users better understand they are on the hotels brand website.
    And it will help for Google Hotel Search; currently the hotels show with a green generic logo.
    There is the option to request your own logo however following Google’s guidelines the favicon must match the final url:

  8. Ability to add mandatory fields in Mews Booking Engine and transfer this data into the reservation information in form of notes or tasks automatically. Example, what is mandatory now is last name, email and if selected telephone number. We would like to have the ability to have specific preferences to better enhance the guest stay such as high floor, quiet location, near elevator, ADA. Also include the ability to have the guest select an estimated arrival time, example 8pm. This will improve housekeeping productivity.   9. Upon not finishing a booking, having mews register the reason for not completing the reservation.
    Registering the "missed" reservations and the quantity and reason could help sales optimize potential revenue.
    This could be done with a small box saying what is the reason for not completing the reservation? (price too high, no availability, test booking etc)

  10. it would be a cool e-commerce feature increasing conversion if we could send a reminder and summary of an abandoned booking in distributor via e-mail. A personalised text and an easy way to book would be a must.

  12. When the visitor of our booking street clicks on a date on which we have no availability, he or she will receive the advice to select another date or to contact our reception (by e-mail or by telephone). Currently it is impossible to change this text.

    We notice that our reception is now receiving many calls regarding our availability. In most cases, the caller reacts with disappointment, because providing these contact details incorrectly suggests that a room is still available.

    The option to change this text would be greatly appreciated.

  14. At the moment every booking service has its own Booking engine. It would be great if the customer could book multiple services in one flow. For example accommodation and parking spaces at the same time.

  15. We offer certain additional services (like afternoon tea) for which we require a preparation time of 48 hours. unfortunately there doesn't seem to be the possibility to mark this when setting up the service - only that you can offer it prior to arrival. is there a way we can add a time limit on (i.e. 48 hours prior to arrival) and that it generates a task not on the day of arrival but for example a week prior to arrival or on the day of the product being added by the guest.

  16. When we use the space types in combination with the booking engine, the name of the space type is displayed very prominently in the booking proces.
    When you book a house, boat, bicycle or special accommodation instead of a room, the booking engine shows it as e.g. a site.
    We would like to see this at least as an external name that you can change to whatever you want.

  17. Show availability of rooms in the booking engine only if they are available in consecutive days to prevent guest from having to switch rooms. There should be a setting that would enable this functionality for properties that do not want to disappoint guest upon arrival.

    This feature is already in place in the booking engine.

    If guest selects dates, we only show room categories which are available for him in this time.

  18. Often the booker asks us to copy the guest in the proposal or confirmation emails. Currently, we have to send the emails twice (once at the time of booking and again through the booking module). Would it be more efficient and clearer for the guest/booker to have the possibility to add another email address (recipients) in CC for the proposal and confirmation emails?

  19. We do not have a 24 hour front desk and do not want the ability for a guest to make a same day reservation after 9pm. Currently we can only set a restriction for the whole day, please add the ability to set a specific time.

  20. We have a large amount of room types that have King beds capable of being converted into Twin configuration. Rather than choosing a set amount of rooms to sell as "Twin" we would prefer to make it an OPTION for the guest to choose their bed configuration. That way the full quantity of splittable beds is available to sell on our booking engine. Additionally, from an operational perspective we know 100% which bed configuration guests require. Splitting beds (or combining them to a King) is very labour intensive and has cost implications from a linen/bedding perspective. Having clear options at…
