  1. The green sign shows up when all the guest completed the online check in. Thats rarly the case often we need just the date of birth of the second person and then the guest gets asked the normal registration form because nobody looked up the pre filled in regestrion card.

    During the online checkin can we do rules for the products that we propose to the guest ? If I have a guest that have a rate that include breakfast we should be able to have a rule to hide the breakfast. If we have guest with corporate segment we should be able to hide the product romantic package ...

  3. For example: We work with a mobile app (Zaplox) with deeplink to the mobile app, but we cannot make us of the deeplink at this moment, because placeholder {ConfirmationNumber} is missing. Therefor guests have to do all manually.

  4. It would be good if the guest can get the exact information on their payment status in the confirmation email.

    It needs a code (Placeholder in template) so that the payment at the reservation will show as the rest of commands open to pay in the confirmation mail.

    Its critical data that the client needs specially for transparency

  5. At the moment, you cannot send a message or email from Mews to your guests.
    This functionality needs to be implemented ASAP. I really expect this functionality from Mews. There should be an easy way to send out a message to all inhouse guest at onec for example.

  6. The Confirmations Mails are very hard to read for customers. You cannot even see wether the costs are per night or per person or in total! That leads to misunderstandings.

  7. At one property we do not send newsletters so asking guest to choose to receive our newsletter when we know we wont send them any feels wrong. Should be able to remove this tick option.

  8. When a guest checks in via MEWS Kiosk we do not receive any information (mail?) about the check in. During the CI process a registration form is filled out and signed with all the necessary data for the registration to the city. All Registration forms of each day are digitally collected. Due to the CI via Kiosk it is hard for our receptionists to keep track of all the registration forms and collect them daily.

  9. Apple Pay stores information such as address, email, phone number on the phone of the guest. Apple Pay also allows sharing this information with 3rd party application.

    It would be great if Mews can pull this information to get the information from the guest and further automate the journey for the guest.

  11. Allow all registered guests to sign a registration card. Right now only the main guest has that option but each person staying should have to sign and agree to terms and conditions. Specifically within the Co-Operator

  12. We are a hotel without a reception in house. Because we don't have any upselling during guest stays, we don't need any manual check out button at our kiosk. People are confused about check out button. Our guest only need to leave the apartment at a certain time and put the room card into a transparent box at the exit.   13. Adapt the Co-Operator Check Out function so that it looks like the Check In Function ? FO teams working with Co-Operator need a dashboard view of Check outs so they can just choose a reservation to C/O without needing the guest name and room number.

  15. When setting up space categories, we have the field "Order email template".

    Unfortunately the text filled into this field is not sent in the default confirmation email.
    You have to set up a custom confirmation email.

    My request is: Please include the "Order email template" text in the default confirmation email.

  17. Online CI confirmation.
    When the guest wants checked in online and he booked the room for two, online CI would not be completed in Mews without filling information for both guest. In that case I would recommend that message showed up after first guest finish online CI should inform the guest that online CI will be completed after all companions will finish online check in.

  18. On the American market the opt in works opposite than in Europe. The guest needs to opt out in case they do not want to receive marketing. Therefore we would like to have the option in the guest profile: send marketing emails set per default for all profiles created in the US properties. The guest then needs to unsubscribe or Opt out if they dont want to receive marketing emails.

  19. When selecting an early check-in or late check-out product, it would be good if the system could change either the arrival time or departure time to make the product selected. This would save time and notify us when the guest is arriving earlier rather that search to see who purchased the early arrival product.

  20. Would be nice to be able to remind the guests to check-out online via mews mailing. This way, if the guest leaves, we can prompt them to click the link and settle their account instead of calling them to chase payment
