  1. Currently when a rate is setup as based upon another rate (base rate) it is only possible to setup one fixed adjustment. However, since we offer rates with and without breakfast, occupancy based adjustments need to be different between rates with and without breakfast (for example).

    Wouldn’t a setup option be nice that allows to not derive all room / occupancy prices from the base rate, but only derive the base rate by a certain adjustment and setup the occupancy adjustments and room type adjustments.

    So like:

    Base rate: xyz-Rate (← the one the new rate is derived from)

  2. Currently you need to set an individual routing rule per company/ travel agency. Please add the option to add a rule to bulk/all companies on the system instead of having to add one by one. The aim on this occasion is to have the company that is assigned to the guest profile reflect on the final bill.

  3. Please add the possibilty to change the view for the report to a list variant with more filter posibilities: Company, Guest, Room, A-Z etc. just like the accounting report.

    The current form of card view is too ******* the eyes and thus not work enviroment friendly. Since it is for 4 lists in 1.

  4. It would be helpful to adjust the Mews Ops dashboard to our companies specific needs. Currently this dashboard is static and not modular.

  5. Add to the current list of Interval option of a Continuous 7 days that begins the report at "Current Day 00:00 to +7 days at 00:00"

    This would allow a daily export of product services sold to show any 7 days out at all times and would also include any late changes that happen for last minute bookings with a cancellation period, add-ons over the phone, and so forth. This is extremely beneficial for a Front Desk Supervisor or Manager to see what is happening that day and prepare for the days to come before a guest arrives without having…

  6. If you want to enter a new reservation, all rate groups and rates appear in the availability display. However, the rate window is not wide enough to display all rates. You have to scroll all the way down to expand the display to the right.
    I would like to see this bar for expanding the rate display above the rates window, ie below "rooms".
    This would also make it easier to see how far to the right you have to drag to see the desired rates

  7. Currently rooms have to be either:

    1) Dirty
    2) Clean
    3) Inspected
    4) Out of Service
    5) Out of Order

    However, some rooms may be Out of Service for a 'last let' reason and therefore may be Inspected and ready to go (but the team want to be aware that these rooms should only be used last). I think Out of Service and Out of Order should be separate room statuses and can be stackable with the clean state of the room.

  9. Hello,

    Just want to give feedback and maybe you do have this issue under your To Do list.

    Guest's check in and check out in mews.
    Then guests do have reservations for next night and next next day, for different rate etc.

    Reception is not able to make key in the same room for two different reservations, in this case we do it manually. Sometimes, payment is paid, key cards are made, the CHECK IN button is forgotten.

    Same situation, if a guest checks out and pays his bill, then some sale spich and reception forgot to press the CHECK…

  10. I'd like to make a suggestion regarding our hotels. As they are owned by multiple owners, each one is assigned different rooms. Profit sharing is based on the revenue generated by these rooms. Therefore, we need each room to have a separate accounting account

  11. Hello MEWS UserVoice Community,

    we urgently need a report for our company that clearly shows the turnover/revenue. The report should be generated daily at ~ 08:00 and ideally be sent automatically by e-mail to a fixed group of users. The following information must be visible on it:

    SALES BY OUTLETS
    - Hotel & Lodging
    - Gastronomy and its sub-outlets (restaurant, day bar, rooftop bar, banquet, etc.)
    - Wellness & Spa
    - Other

    REVENUE BY TIME (here using the example of gastronomy)
    - Breakfast
    - Lunch
    - Dinner

    SALES BY PRODUCT GROUPS (here using the example of gastronomy)
    - FOOD

  13. Make the "send marketing postal mail" option available alongside "send marketing emails" in the mews import file.

    Many hotels – including ours – are treating e-mail opt-in differently from postal opt-in and would like to import their customer information accordingly.

  15. It would be much needed to have an option to choose which age category to link to rate groups and products. Now we are forced to sell 0€ products and also package rates for children, even though they are not available for children. Very handy for booking engine and less confusion to end customer.

  16. Es wäre toll, wenn man bei der wirklich super einfachen Buchungseingabe noch irgendwo die Möglichkeit hätte, eine kurze Notiz für den Gast hinzuzufügen. Wie zB.: Zimmer im Erdgeschoss oder Allergiker-Bettwäsche oder späte Anreise... Der Chat funktioniert ja zunächst nur von der Gastseite aus... Wenn bei uns ein Gast ein Zimmer im parterre oder barrierefrei wünscht, ist es nicht immer eine eigene Kategorie und es wäre hilfreich, auf ein vorheriges Telefonat oder einen Emailaustausch eingehen zu können. Also eine Art "Notizfeld"...

  18. I don't want to send confirmation emails to 3rd party OTA's. They send through the 3rd part platform and may show a rate code which is a violation of the agreement between hotels and OTA's. Example: Expedia collect - the commission is taken from the room rate, so what the guest sees is lower than what the guest pays. This causes issues as the guest will be confused and disgruntled thinking they somehow are getting overcharged by Expedia.

    Also, some tour operators also don't want a guest to see the rate, and will cancel a contract due to sharing the…

  19. Often we get attendees that make reservations outside of the group block, usually by human error. It would be ideal if we can edit the rate code or change their rate to a group rate block and then, after changing the code, it automatically changes the room rate to match the group rate, applies the group routing rules, group product rules. I have seen this is all our previous PMS systems, I am confused why its not an option.

  20. We would like to send our guests as little email as possible. Therefore, it would be great to be able to confirm two bookable services in one mail. For example parking and a room reservation. To avoid having to send to many emails.
