  1. If there are multiple public rates within the same rate group, MEWS will only display the cheapest option in the booking engine.

    This causes issues for us for example when publishing our Christmas packages. They would both fall under the same rate group (PKG - Package incl. breakfast in this example), but since one package includes dinner and the other one a *****, only the cheaper ***** package will be shown to our guests.

  2. Can you under the Availability Block Report add a column for Picked-up/Blocked rooms?

    So we easily can see what block that still have rooms blocked but not picked up, without having to open each and everyone to check for blocked rooms.
    Per today we only see "status, Start, End, Release, etc"

    Then we can more easily sell it to someone else !

  5. Rate Key Requirement:
    It is not possible to leave the rate key field empty, limiting flexibility. We are currently doing a big migration/restructure project and cannot yet delete the old rates but need to wipe the keys in order to reuse them.

    Navigation Limitation:
    Unable to use Command+Click to open a rate in a new tab, which impacts multitasking efficiency.

    Voucher Code Search:
    Searching for voucher codes is harder. Additionally:

  6. It should be possible to set the order of the rates yourself in the reservation form. At the moment it is apparently incomprehensibly coincidental.

    The ordering works in the settings but not in the reservation form.
    It is very annoying when you have to open the dropdown menu every time because the most booked rate is not displayed first.

  7. When you put in a rate in Availability block the product rule that you have made should for the rate should follow. If I make a Availability block today and put in a rate the product rule for that rate doesn´t follow and I need to make a new product rule for every new block I do.

  8. we've noticed that when creating a reservation manualy from the PMS, on the “Details” page, the confirmation mode defaults is “Do not send”. By changing the reservation status (to Requested or Optional) or even back to Confirmed, the confirmation mode automatically changes from “Do not send” to “Send”. This can be a source of error if the person making the reservation doesn't notice it. I think it would be preferable for the confirmation mode to default to “Do not send”, and for the person making the reservation to change it manually if necessary.

  9. Die zu erledigenden Aufgaben in der Dashboard-Liste sollten auswählbar sein. Derzeit sind zuviel Nonsens-Aufgaben darin und die Liste verliert damit ihre Übersicht und ihren Sinn

  10. Right now, if a report is large (example: over a year's time), Mews is slow, and we therefore need to export in Excel instead of "View Report". It would be great if it could be exported to PDF as well.

  11. Access to reservations, but read only. This is useful for smaller properties where for example the security guard needs to check passports/ID to make sure the correct person is in front of them.

    But then don't give them the access to make any changes to them.

  12. Create an automatic scheduled Reservation Report-link with specific filter on default. Just like the scheduled reports that we have today, but that we only receive an link / URL directly to the list in Mews. Also in a security perspective - that we don't have our guest's name sent to our emails everyday with all the booking information. It would be more secure to receive a link so you need to actually log in to Mews to have all the data.

    It is so much easier to handle the Reservation List directly in Mews, than operate with PDF.list's.

  13. Currently to get to the details section of a booking you have to click on the booking, move the mouse, and click detail.
    We should be able to just double-click the booking on the timeline and go directly into the details of the booking.

  14. Find an easier way to add notes to a bill. Such as billing info. To be able to add this information and save it before issuing the invoice. For example if the name of the bill can appear on the top of the invoice

  15. Ich fände es hilfreich, wenn über der Datumsleister auch eine Angabe der Kalenderwoche wäre.
    Auch beim Anlegen einer Buchung, wenn das Feld mit den Datumsangaben kommt, wäre es gut, wenn in klein und grau die KW daneben stünde.

  19. Option to Issue Pro Forma Invoices or Invoices with a Percentage Deposit Requirement for Booking Confirmation

    As we establish our group accommodation billing process, we've identified the need to issue pro forma invoices or invoices that specify a deposit amount—such as 33%—to confirm a booking. This functionality is particularly essential for group bookings, where securing reservations often requires a partial payment upfront.

    Currently, Mews does not provide the option to generate an invoice based on a percentage of the booking total. Instead, the system only allows invoicing for the entire amount, which can complicate transactions and discourage early booking confirmations.…

  20. We've explored various reports in Mews with different settings to see if it's possible to extract the tax code in addition to the tax rate. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a way to do this.

    Having access to tax codes in reports is essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance, especially when tax codes change within Mews. It allows us to track which revenue has been taxed with which tax code, providing better control and transparency for accounting and auditing purposes.
