Assign a Product to a Room Category
It would be very handy to be able to assign a certain product to a room category.
For example, we have a room category that is dog-friendly and we charge a one off fee. I want the guests to have the option to select the product when making a booking but also restrict them from booking it in another room category.38 votesHi, thank you very much for the idea!

Message visibility
Customer Messages should be attached directly to the customer profile, so that all hotel staff can easily access/read/react to the conversation.
In that way, only unread messages would appear in the general customer message board and that would clear the clutter.
There could even be a message icon on every reservation badge, so that the staff can access customer-hotel conversations directly.19 votesHello from the Mews product team,

Mews chat - click 'enter' twice to send a message.
To prevent messages from being sent with a typing error, it would be useful to click 'enter' twice before sending a message in Mews.

Autofocus dashboard search box
To save users from an additional click, Mews could enable autofocus on the Dashboard search bar. This would automatically focus that input to that search, meaning that while users are on the Dashboard page, users could start typing and search would begin automatically.

While autofocus poses some issues with accessibility and is not currently being considered, I am happy to share that we are currently beta-testing an improved global search that includes a keyboard shortcut to access it, and we are open to accepting more properties!
At the moment the shortcut only works on Windows, but we will soon have it on Mac too which should help solving this need of a quick access to the search bar.

Mews Native Channel Manager
Add Channel Manager to a product portfolio to reduce cost of using a 3rd party channel manager.
10 votesThanks for the submission. We have a direct integration with booking.com, and are considering some of the other major channels as well. However this is very time consuming in both development as well as maintenance. It is currently unlikely we'll be able to fully cover channel management like the channel managers today can.

The Notifications Window Should show at least a name or booking number.
The notifications window and the information "order created"is a bit pointless since it doesn't show any more information. In order to find out what order was created you have to click on order created and you will be send to the reservation. It would make more sense to at least show a booking umber or name in the notifications window next to order created.

Is more important to know how many ROOMS and not GUESTS are arriving/departing day by day in the Dashboard overview.

Voucher - Need to be hidden
When creating vouchers - they need to be able to be made hidden and only appear when you select the TA or OTA that it is connected to. I need this created urgently please.

It would be great to extend the use of the message app also to non-guests. A link/button for on our website and in the regular e-mails, would be great.

help center conversations
If one got more then 3 converstaions ongoign in help center with you Mews guys it is really difficult to find the topic one would further communicate in. Something like a title or such would be very helpful.

Cancelled product orders
I would like cancelled product orders to completely dissapear from product orders when cancelled.

Set a Minimum advance reservation restriction for online bookings
I would like to set a "Minimum advance reservation" restriction 4 hours before midnight (8 pm). Then customers cannot reserve online after 8 pm for reservations on that day of arrival. Our reception closes at 9 pm. This way our reception has at least 1 hour to help guests with information (digital keys, night safe) for a late arrival.

delete members from message thread
We use the Mews messages for some internal announcements.
It would be great it there is an option to delete (internal) messages threads and to remove members from the thread.
