  2. It will be great if there will be the possibility of creating new email templates that we can send manually to any reservation that we want. This will save us a lot of time for example for all the reservations we have to charge with POS and the credit card is denied, we have send an email manually one by one in each case. It will be much easier if we can create new email templates on our own for cases like this.

  3. At the moment the e-mails that are sent from the system are one size fits all. However, the tone of voice and info in e-mails towards guest differs per segment. It would be nice to set up different templates per segment.

    Our team is looking to make sure that the rate of Online checkin  will be maximal. Allready we did few experiments and we will continue to improve this even further.

  5. At the moment, in the email which is send to the properties there is missing the travel agency and the date of the reservations. Those two extra information would be great to have as it allows to have all the information at the first sight without going into the reservation. E.g. when it is a failed settlement at the same day of the arrival, we would ignore this email, as the guest will then pay later upon check-in.

  6. To be able to choose which fields are visible in the reservation confirmation. It would be great to uncheck some of the values, such as rate name or product for certain costumers, but currently you can only delete the entire row (reservation detail) which is not an option.

  7. The main booker of a company always wants to receive a confirmation email with all of the guest names now the main booker only sees a reservation number of all reservations

  8. Create different types of confirmations for different types of rates. For example for the holidays we want our guests to receive the right confirmation with all their reservation contains.

  9. It would be welcome to add soms extra text in the confirmation email. So if you make a booking over the phone you can add extra text in the confirmation email regarding the client's booking.

  10. We need to send automated booking-modification emails triggered based on data updates that may affect the stay cost: dates, rates, room types, number of adults, children... and for which the subject is clearly mentioned as a Modification confirmation email

  12. When sending a confirmation e-mail to booker I see strange information:
    I see a line called "owner": owner of what. In most hotels there are guests staying in hotel, not owners.
    Owner of what ?
    Same "mistake" is seen in other languages.
    Please allow that hotel changes widget or do keeping in mind that our business is about people and things. Thank you.

  14. Guests complain sometimes that there are too many e-mails before arrival. When we ask, was there anything they found really unnecessary, they often refer to payment receipt e-mail. It doesn't even include the invoice. When booking, they accept the terms and know the payment will be taken from cc. Mostly they have also instant notification from bank to phone. Can we make this e-mail optional, please? Would be perfect if client can choose this option.

  15. When a new guest file is created, the following mail is automatically sent to the guest. From my point of view there are the following possibilities for improvement:
    - The mail should be written more individually (ex. salutation and other text). It would be helpful if there is a separate template for this.
    - If the Pre-Arrival Mailing is activated, then the guest gets several mails. It would therefore be helpful if the reference to the new guest index is inserted in the pre-arrival mail.

    Would be great to have again the special offers/rates for MEWS users in properties using MEWS!
    It is an attractive benefit for employees and bonds the MEWS community.

  18. When a guest receives one of the automatic messages like the online check-in (which are not possible to change), than MEWS uses the familiar way "je" instead of the polite way "u" and "uw". So this messages would need to be changed as guests experience this as a rude way of addressing them.

    We have conducted the testing with small amount of Dutch-speaking users and no one found it offending or impolite. Thus we don’t plan to change the default text. But we will have a look whether we can enable customization of email text, so you can adapt it to your tone of voice.

    We will inform about these changes through our release notes.

  19. At the moment the guests only receive a failed payment email when you have set all your rates to be charged automatically. When set to manual charge, it does not send the guest an email and this then also has to be done manually. The system should send the guest a payment failed email even though the rates are set to manual charge.

  20. If a property works heavily with packages, the confirmation clients receive are not aesthetically pleasing. All products are listed in the confirmation and it is not ideal.
    Can we remove this from the confirmation?
