Removing products from confirmations STR
If a property works heavily with packages, the confirmation clients receive are not aesthetically pleasing. All products are listed in the confirmation and it is not ideal.

Navigator translations intereference with Google translations
The Navigator Website has several different languages available. However, every guest that does not speak English will get the google translate notification. If a guest enables this option, any language will get translated to the selected language. For example: German to German, which results in an unreadable text.
This is highly recommended especially for German houses. In some text it even says "you die".

Optional: Charge success (Payment e-mail receipt) after payment
Guests complain sometimes that there are too many e-mails before arrival. When we ask, was there anything they found really unnecessary, they often refer to payment receipt e-mail. It doesn't even include the invoice. When booking, they accept the terms and know the payment will be taken from cc. Mostly they have also instant notification from bank to phone. Can we make this e-mail optional, please? Would be perfect if client can choose this option.

Add extra text to mail
It would be welcome to add soms extra text in the confirmation email. So if you make a booking over the phone you can add extra text in the confirmation email regarding the client's booking.

Option to integrate external payment terminal
As mews terminals are not available in all countries it is very important for us to arrange payment during check-in process with Kiosk please allow other external payment terminal integrations with mews/kiosk

Thank you for your input. Can you please elaborate a bit more on what are you trying to solve with this feature suggestion?If you need to monitor which emails we sent to your guests from Mews, you can see it in Queue > Mails.
The reason why we don’t allow properties to access the content of emails is that emails contain unique links to the Guests Navigator where guest manages his or her reservation/profile/payment cards/ etc.
I am looking forward to hear about your needs and then we can brainstorm about a possible solution.

PIN CODE field in Mews
It would be neat if the guests were able to check in on the kiosk and get their pin code there.

Reservation Confirmation Details
To be able to choose which fields are visible in the reservation confirmation. It would be great to uncheck some of the values, such as rate name or product for certain costumers, but currently you can only delete the entire row (reservation detail) which is not an option.

The Navigator should have a feature that will allow current guests to have live access to their bill, not just during the online checkout.

Attach passport image at online check-in
Allow the guest to attach a copy of the passport at online check-in.
This feature would allow the guest to have a quicker check-in because the passport would be validated in advance by reception.

confirmation e-mail text
When sending a confirmation e-mail to booker I see strange information:
I see a line called "owner": owner of what. In most hotels there are guests staying in hotel, not owners.
Owner of what ?
Same "mistake" is seen in other languages.

Pronouns in Dutch are not polite
When a guest receives one of the automatic messages like the online check-in (which are not possible to change), than MEWS uses the familiar way "je" instead of the polite way "u" and "uw". So this messages would need to be changed as guests experience this as a rude way of addressing them.
5 votesWe have conducted the testing with small amount of Dutch-speaking users and no one found it offending or impolite. Thus we don’t plan to change the default text. But we will have a look whether we can enable customization of email text, so you can adapt it to your tone of voice.
We will inform about these changes through our release notes.
