Change room status Stayover (clean) automatically to dirty overnight
Housekeepers change dirty stayover rooms to clean after a stayovercleaning. The room status does not change automatically overnight. As the guest is the day after also a stay over and needs cleaning aswell.

The housekeeping system in Mews is currently based off cleaned rooms being inspected by a supervisor including for overnight stays. When rooms are inspected, they are then turned dirty overnight.
Would you be able to share some examples of why rooms would not be inspected by a supervisor or manager for overnight stays?

Bed Configuration Status
Currently we have several rooms with King beds that can be split into a Twin configuration. When the Housekeeping team "Clean" the room , it would be great to have an additional status option which they can choose to identify the current bed configuration - i.e. has the room been cleaned and reset to a "King" configuration or a "Twin" configuration. This would help greatly for Reservations staff when allocating rooms, as well as give clear guidance to Front Desk staff for walk-ins.

Housekeeping assignment - Unassign an employee
Dear colleagues,
At this moment we can assign employees to the room but we can not cancel, it is only possible to override.
It generous few problems:
- in the next day room is still assigned to the same employee, a filter of the unassigned room is useless
- everyday assignments must be made very carefully, checking when the room has been assigned, yesterday or today
- it is not possible to make a report of an assigned room from the past, the system shows the only current assignedPlease take into consideration the following changes:

Block space automatically
We have rooms that need more time to be cleaned, which is why we have to block them for the night after the guests check out. It would be great if the system could do that automatically as soon as those rooms have been booked. As for now, we need to block the rooms manually everytime it is booked...

Housekeeping Reservations Status Arrived = Occupied
In the Housekeeping App when a reservation has Arrived, the space turns to Dirty / Arrived and the time of arrival. We currently have reservations "Arrived" or "Arriving", but not an "Occupied" state for Housekeeping. This can be confusing for some housekeepers using the housekeeping app as the Arrived and Arriving look very similar. For most properties, if you have arrived, you are now "occupying" the space and therefore the space is now Dirty / Occupied. Show rates and products in commander App
I would be helpful, if the housekeeping could see stay products which could for example be a fruit basket or pralines in the room.

Client Status in HouseKeeping report
It would be great to have a "Guest Outside" status for rooms of stay over guests, so Housekeeping knows the room is ready for cleaning.

Notify Housekeeping department of space status changes
When the reception checks-out a reservation it would be nice to notify the housekeeping department so they can inform their teams.

Drag and Drop Room Assignment by Housekeeper similar to Timeline
To improve the speed of room assignment by housekeeper, it would be good to have the ability to drag and drop specific rooms under each housekeeper on a daily basis similar to what we do with Timeline. You could quickly see which rooms are unassigned and drag the room under each housekeeper to complete their board for the day. If room credits are used, each room that is dragged under a housekeeper deducts from the total credits assigned for the day.

Ability to put rooms out of order from Mews Housekeeping App
Currently, you are not able to put the Space out of order form the Mews Housekeeping App. You are able to change the status from Dirty to Clean to Inspected to Out of Service but not Out of Order. We would like the ability to put rooms Out of Order with a reason from the Housekeeping App.

Simplify the Housekeeping Room Assignment Process
It would be helpful to assign Housekeeping from a single space status screen versus room assignment screen. The drop down could show all available housekeeping and you could assign one or two directly onto this screen. Today, you have to use the assignment tool with has filters and is a bit awkward as you need to filter than assign a housekeeper then rooms. When you select and second housekeeper the same rooms show up as the first and you have to remember you have assigned them. Do not disturb
The housekeeping should be able to also mark a room as do not disturb. In stead of only: clean, inspected etc.
This way the reception can clearly see if there are any rooms with only new towls. etc.

Housekeeping requests
Hi I believe a report that shows all traces by room number would be very helpful for our daily operations. We have plenty of HSKneeds for individual rooms and we need a report that has all the information by room number. E.g. room 205 is allergic to feather, room 206 wants romantic turndown service and room 320 wants service everyday at noon.

Legionella prevention function in Mews does not work well
Mews has a legionella prevention function. It automatically puts vacant rooms into dirty status after 7 days of being vacant. However, our Housekeeping and Maintenance system have a likewise function, which is way more operatable. Because I can adjust settings: I can choose the amount of days, type of notifications and to whom, etc. And, it belongs to those departments that do the legionella prevention. Automatic booking reallocation when setting room Out of Order
At the moment in order to put a room out of order, you need first to reallocate all the reservations assigned to that particular space. It can take a lot of time, specially if it is a long period.
