  1. It should be nice to have a calender drop down list for the arrival and departure date when adding a new booking in the system. Now you have to swipe through the months and takes a lot of time, especially when it´s for reservations for 2022 for example.

  3. On distributor it is possible for guests to book 1 person on a Quadruple room , which results into a tariff that is lower than on a single room. This is of course not desired. It would be great if this could be setup with a restriction or (per room type) in the distributor setup.

  4. A button to click on that that specific guest will always receive a receipt after check out. So the guest doesnt have to ask for it every time

  5. We have recently added the competitor rate description with special offers when making bookings via our site. We'd like to know if it is possible to increase the font of this little text on the booking engine. It is barely legible and we'd like it to attract more attention.

  9. For Group bookings (with a different distributor) we would want to let them book a single or shared room without having to book a certain room. It would be handy to choose which room category or type is visible per distrtibutor. Now guests have to book their stay by choosing a room reservation which is unhandy for us.

  10. When a customer enters a Voucher code there are both - corporate/private and public rates.
    It is not possible to evaluate how many guests have booked a public rate instead of a private one they had access to.

  11. Hello,

    As of October 14, 2020, Google introduced new default property called Google Analytics 4 (GA4). If you would like to connect it with mews through Google Tag Manager (GTM), it is not possible to follow the exact settings as it was when setting the previous version of Google Analytics ( Universal analytics - UA).

    I am asking you if you can add an additional article or paragraph to your online documentation related to MEWS connection with GA4 through GTM.

  12. The call api/connector/v1/services/getAvailability

    Returns availability for the selected services (if it's booked or blocked).
    We can get availability for Accommodation.

    Can we get the restrictions applied to the returned JSON?

  13. The button "Proceed to checkout" is now translated as "Proceder con el check-out" in spanish and "Procedi al checkout" in italian. However I find these translations a bit confusing as the spanish and italians are not really familiar with this english expression. "Ir al pago" o "confirmar reserva" (in spanish) and "procedi al pagamento" or "conferma prenotazione" in italian, would be a better translation. Furthermore, I've seen in a video of Mews University, that this button was "ir al pago" in spanish and I wonder why it got changed.

  14. The idea has been already verified in other areas, such as airlines or cruises. All rates would be non-refunduble by default. On top of each rate, the guest could purchase an additional product (something like an “insurance”) that would make the rate refundable; however, the “insurance” itself would not be refundable.

    There could be more levels of “insurance” - e.g. “cancel up to 1 week prior to the arrival” and “cancel anytime”. The second option in this case should be obviously more pricey.

    Generally speaking, the price of the “insurance” should always cover the costs of maintaining the empty room…

  18. A space character at the end of an email address should be simply ignored and not be producing an error message.

    This is just a small thing, but well made form can handle this. :)

  19. The booking engine has a great functionality allowing guests to book in one reservation rooms for different set of dates.
    In the flow of the reservation, however, there isn't a clear call for action, or distinction letting the consumer know that this is an option. Only someone that knows how the booking engine works, would know that it's possible and where the click.
    It would be great if there was clearer path to this functionality, or a call to action before the reservation is confirmed, asking the guest whether they need another reservation for different days, navigating them back to…

  20. When viewing the booking engine on mobile, the property name is dropped from view. You can still see a tiny logo, but that's it. Some sort of solution here would be helpful so the booker knows for sure what they're looking at.
