  1. When a guest uses the online check-out he/she has no company details at all, while the company name is already in the reservation. Would be good when the guest sees the company name without being able to edit it. Otherwise he thinks the company is not in the reservation and we risk that he/she changes the guest name for the company name.

  2. Currently we are able to set up a booking engine for each bookable service, and even select which rooms/rates we want to display per engine. Works great!

    However, the only branding/names displayed in the booking engine are the company name, and the room type name.

    If you have double rooms in two different bookable services, under the same company. It get's a little bit confusing for the guest as to which actual place it is that they are booking.

    A custom name would be great, or an (optional) subheader with the bookable service name would also suffice.

  3. hiya, I am trying to assign an existing travel agent to two bookings for a different service (cots). although i can assign the agent to the unit reservations, it will not allow me to assign them to the two other bookings.
    any idea how we can change this?

  4. Possibility to store an image behind each step in the booking engine. Otherwise, it currently looks very dreary and half-furnished.

  5. We often do have companies with different addresses and also subsidiaries or just partners and we can apply negotiated rates. Would it be possible to apply company vouchers/rates when making a reservation ? at present, on the first page of a new reservation only public vouchers are visible to staff. We would need company vouchers in order to speed reservation process. Later on, new company profile with new voucher will be created, but as you know, it is quite time consuming and not all staff are eligible to create/link rates and vouchers.

  6. Whilst its 'controlled' in the booking flow that a guest cannot complete the reservation without ticking the acceptance box for T&Cs, when it comes to defending a chargeback it supports a stronger counter-challenge if we have the ability to send a screenshot of the reservation summary with the datapoint captured that the T&Cs were accepted and timestamped.

  7. When a booker makes a reservation for someone else, they can never get access to a portal where they can change the reservation, or the language for each confirmation. Or get an overview of all their reservations.

  8. There are currently two ways to open the booking engine and I would like to see them combined.

    1. Standalone: to open the booking engine with a URL on a new tab/page of the browser. It also allows deeplinks to preselect language, currency, dates, persons, category etc.
    2. Widget: to open the booking engine in a, iframe popup overlay by creating a button with the class 'distributor-open' and without link.

    I would like to use a combination of them, so open the widget with a deeplink.

    It should be as easy as adding the deeplink to a button with the class 'distributor-open'.…

  9. Create the option for a guest photo to be added to the Internals - Guest Notes section of MEWS please.
    The new update is great with categorized notes.
    Being able to upload a picture of our VIP and regular guests would be really helpful

  12. Our big company clients have a lot of branch offices all over Europe. Actually it is not possible in Mews to find the right branch office by typing in the name of the company and the city of the branch. Why not? This should be quite easy to be solved and save a lot of time. Furthermore it would avoid creating the same branch office again and again.

  14. The Mail Template page displays every email which can be sent by Mews, however there is no indication asto whether or not the email is active / enabled.

    It would be ideal to display the status of each email, so at a glance we know which emails are enabled and which are disabled without having to review stay settings.

  16. The link of the online check-in in the mail before arrival is not vailid any more after the guest is checked-in. Sometimes the Guest needs more time to fill on the information. Can you please leave the link in the mail active also after the check in. This is also in compliance with legislation, as the information in Austria has to be provided within 24/48 hrs after check-in date.

  17. Could we add a descriptive text to the landing page, so we can clarify any current promotions or restrictions? Ie. “Accepting reservations for Summer 2024 now” - anything that would help prevent guests from selecting date selections that are in a blackout or have particular restrictions (ie. we do not allow Saturday check-in, so selecting any dates that begin on Sat returns no availability).

  20. If mews could sell USB camera modules that could be placed next to kiosks/computers for easier Document "Scanning".
    If all documents are the same brightness, distance from the lens it could speed up the scanning procedure.
