This status update is part of our ongoing work to simplify and streamline how our UserVoice feedback forum operates. I really think this idea is extremely important for hotels especially with regards to customers that have very particular requirements when making bookings. I also think that reservation agents should be able to view what mailing has been sent to other customers

Allow a free text 'notes' section in the emails sent to the guests. This is to have a more personalised communication and add details such as information about the driver if the bookings includes a transfer or to confirm that a specific request/preference from the guest has been recorded (for example: request for a room with a view, acknowledgment of a food allergy, etc.)

True, guests often have requests which need to be addressed individually. Right now, if we were to receive a reservation with such an individual request, we could not use the template mail as it does not allow for customization apart from the overall template. Adding an optional text field would be useful.
