Products and Services - Bookable on X Day of Week Only
Products and services that are bookable during the reservation process should have a Day of Week Restriction.
IE: Hotel wants to offer a product that is only available if a guest is going to be staying over a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.
If a guest is going to be checking in Sunday and Checking out Wednesday, the product should display and be bookable.
However, if they are checking in Wedneday & Checking out Thursday, the product should not display and be bookable as they guest wont be in house when the product is offered.

Allow transaction/service adjustment in the billing screen by ticking the service (instead of having to go via the Add Product section)
In the billing screen, please allow user to tick the item to correct/adjust and foresee and foresee and adjust/partial adjust button to do the correction in same screen.
Eg: a beer of €5 appears on invoice but was wrongly posted. Now, we need to go to add product, select the correct service (F&B 21%) and book negative amount.
This is not seamless and from experience, as operator needs to manually select in which service to adjust.
I see that the service or product selected for the adjustment is not always the same as the service/product that was initially posted. Eg.…

Show in house status for guest with future bookings in the Accounting ledger
Currently guests in house with future bookings aren't shown as in house in the accounting ledger.
It confusing for receptionists to check what is due and why as they have some In House Clients and some that are In house but not shown as is…

Keep Old Billing Screen as an Option at Least
I just want to know why they are complicating the billing screen at a time when there were no issues with it? We don't understand. We feel a little held ******* by this design flaw. re-open a closed task
it would be good if you could update a task and re-instate it once closed. sometimes tasks have been closed but become relevant again at a later date and this would prevent having to create a new one, plus with updating the task description you have a better overview and history of what has happened with that particular booking in one click.

Productrules applicable for a certain period of time
Make it possible to set a period of time to a productrule. Example: the swimmingpool surcharge is applicable from April to October. In the current situation, the productrule is always applicable or never applicable

Price displayed for selected items in the new billing
It will be nice to have the price shown for only selected items if asked by the guest, and not have to move them to a new bill to have the amount, or calculate somehow.

Group Revenue
Need to be able to pull a report or see quick view, the total revenue listed under a group name which includes any charges accrued during that stay - currently you can only pull the reservations report for accommodation and no additional charges.

Make the reservation purpose customisable
It would be really helpful if we could customise the reservation purpose drop down to add our own purposes and to then be able to report of those for example we have emergency stays and end of life etc and to be able to record this as the reservation purpose would be a huge help.

customized reports
Ability to set customized reports as favorites in Manager Analytics. I find the Mews reports very difficult to use, and on my system, it takes very long to change report settings. It would be helpful if we could set reports as standard with the data data we need. Furthermore, have easier to use options to search for specific dates so we can quickly draw data for a particular period. Thank you.

Show "Booker" as a label when moving bill items
We use the booker field for our paymaster indications for groups.
It would be great if the booker would come up as a suggested customer to move the bill items to, when we move items from the bill.
So in the move section all possible customer profiles that are attached to a reservation are listed as option.

Optional bookings - released status ( and not cancelled)
When making optional bookings, this means we are holding a room/rooms but the booking is not confirmed.
If this bookings is never confirmed, we should have an status called released instead of cancelled, as you are not really cancelling the booking, you are releasing the booking.49 votesHello from the Mews product team,

The new billing screen is way too confusing and not clear at all.. The old one was perfect and everything was easy to use and to check on.

New colors
These new colors are so stupid. How can you change the colors to mean completely different things 2 + years in to a system? Please change it back.

Block charging to room if guests do not add payment card.
If guests do not want to add payment card to their reservation we would like to be able to block charges being added to the room.
