Thank you for your valuable insights on this topic. I am happy to inform you that this feature is now live and ready to use for all* users.
*Please note that France and Guadeloupe will be soon be given access to this feature as well, whereas development is still ongoing to serve your legal requirements.
More information can be found in this release note.
To add, soon restored canceled reservations will as well be shown in reporting, in order to give you a clear insight.

Hello, reservations longer than a year can be created through monthly bookable services functionality. The maximum length is restricted to 5 years.
In the coming months, the team will focus on improving the functionality for long stays (monthly reservations) and introduce pro-rating, flexible housekeeping and product posting.

Payment request is friendly and convenient way how to collect payments from your guests or bookers. To reinstate future bookings that were canceled (or marked as a no-show) up to one day after the original check-in date. This feature will simplify the procedure of amending booking that were not meant to be canceled. It will boost efficiency since clicking on a reinstate button, it is easier than creating a new booking.
