    Set mandatory fields when doing a check-in at the front desk.

    Some countries (Sweden and Norway for sure) have a statistics bureau that collects the Nationality of the guests staying at the property.

    The functionality is already in the online check-in and the kiosk check-in. But we really need it when it comes to reception check-in. We are getting fined if we keep sending in statistics where guests have no country. The idea is to make nationality mandatory for receptionists to be able to check-in the guests.

    Hello,

    phone number can be now set as mandatory – you can do it in Distributor settings. How to open your distributor settings Is described in our help guide https://help.mews.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002246997%22.

    Speaking about nationality – what kind of problem are you trying to solve? Why do you need nationality mandatory?

    It is currently mandatory in Online check-in which is available for all of your guests.

    Here is my late reply to Jakubs question:
    - By Law we need to report nationality to the Bureau of Statistics. The problem we wanna solve is to have nationality on all reservations. It would be helpful then, to be able to enable a mandatory setting for nationality in MEWS (not only in the online check-in setup).

    Guest are reporting that the payment freezes. They cant update their payments options.
