    An automatic waitlist feature allows guests to sign up for notifications when their desired dates are fully booked. If a room becomes available, they’re instantly alerted by email, turning potential cancellations or changes into new reservations without staff needing to lift a finger.

    Currently, we rely on manual waitlists on paper or spreadsheets, which are easy to forget or inconsistently checked. This leads to missed opportunities, frustrated guests, and ultimately, lost revenue. Staff are busy, and it’s unrealistic to expect perfect tracking without automation.

    Many other PMS platforms already offer this functionality as a standard feature. It’s a proven tool that keeps properties competitive, efficient, and responsive to guest demand.
    By integrating an automatic waitlist system, we can:

    Capture demand even when we’re booked solid
    Turn cancellations into confirmed revenue
    Keep potential guests engaged and informed
    Lighten the load on our staff

    Simply put, this feature modernizes our booking process and helps us stop leaving money on the table.
