New e-mail templates and e-mail customization options
We delivered customization of all emails which Mews send to guests.
We will start collecting new feedback for missing placeholders and other things separately

Agreed, the choice is way to limited. In Hotel Perfect the customer could have as many or as little templates as they link. I do not like the restriction as every Hotel has a different requirement. Also it means Mewsers are currently sending additional emails from outlook to confirm extras they cannot type in a standard confirmation.

We need to be able to design and customize email templates. As individual hotels, we all have different branding and different ways of communicating with our guests. Please prioritize!

I cannot understand why this is not already taken care of. You cannot send the exact same text to guests from all types of hotels.

Bookboost seems capable of fully customizing the emails in the guest journey with an HTML and a drag & drop email editor. (including the MEWS merge tags)

I totally agree with to the comment that Eric Kei kai wrote on April 8th 2018 (1.319 days ago !!). See below.
Our communication with our guests is essential.
And I would add that giving us the opportunity to send an email (I am speaking about the "before start email") but not even being able to add a paragraph in the text is just totally insane. Why are some automatic emails "HTML customizable" and some are just total plain text for thousands of days... -

Please allow the clients to change the wording total amount in the confirmation email, as sometimes there are other service items added and the guest is not aware of it and thinks the total amount is the only number they need to pay.

Currently if you add to much text on this email template it will become one big email without option to add paragraphs (although in the MEWS help file it does look like you can use them in the example template for the before start email)

Give the possibility to add a small text to the confirmation and quotation emails. The best thing would be a field in the reservation module and a placeholder in the mail template... so that we are able to customize our emails a bit more...

Templates with links to pre-check in or check out invitation have set up as default the message contacta con nosotros which is not a formal way in spanish (does not match either with the formal message we can set up. I understand that this is a translation from english, but it would be a good thing that we could set up these messages too so we avoid unformalities in other lenguages. Thanks

Totally agree, each hotel/hostel has it's own way of communication with their guests. Not being able to modify the text which the guest receives in his first email from the hotel/hostel is really bad and a total broken link in the customer journey. :-(

Also note, that this E-Mail is crucial for the magic-link to work later. The customization for this is also necessary for adaption to the hotels own branding.

All emails should be fully customisable to better fit the brand image. Equally the companies that choose to use CRM's should be able to have the online check-in and check-out provided to the CRM so the entire journey is seamless and not handled by two companies.

This would be great! Also to have the ability to send a different mail template per template type depending on varying criteria e.g. date of stay, products selected.
