  1. When the reception team takes a direct booking and pick up a rate, it should note which products are included. Firstly, when looking at the individual rates – where it notes the R/O cost and products e.g. +£16 – it should note what these products are. Secondly, once it is picked up, in the reservation summary, it displays the rate code e.g. ‘BB’ – but it should also note the summary of the products within it.

  2. Hide dedicated OTA mapping rate categories from the reservation screen when only the external channel manager (Like Cubilis from Stardekk for example) has a use of them

  3. We are missing a more efficient way to visualize cancellations in the reservation reports. Right now, you can see the cancelled status with a grey color that is not clear enough. Maybe red of a more vivid color.

  4. When printing out regcards via reservation overview report, the report sorting parameters do not influence the actual order the regcards are printed in !

    This makes us lose a lot of time, having to sort all the reservation cards by hand !

  5. Guests occasionally have a reservation under one booking, followed by another reservation under a different booking number (e.g if they've decided to add another night or have been staying for work and adding another day as a personal expense). Under the current system they need to check out and get their cards recut which isn't a great customer experience, we need to manually allocate the same room for both stays, inform Housekeeping not to clear the room and if they haven't paid in advance, we need to pay extra attention to their billing as it's split over multiple bookings.

  6. Provide functionality for auto-allocation of bookings to units, in order to spread revenue income evenly across owners. Rather than Top-Down, Bottom-Up, or Random, taking prior YTD revenue consumed by unit in to account would help spread revenue evenly and keep owners happy (particularly w/ Condo-Hotel types where individuals own specific units and put them in rental pools)

  7. Dans la partie de droite de la réservation, il sera plus facile de lire les produits s'ils étaient regroupés en une ligne. Pour des longs séjours la liste des produits est vite beaucoup trop longue.
    Par exemple au lieu d'avoir 9 lignes avec 1 produit, avoir 1 ligne avec les 9 produits

  8. While using a space in space set up, but NOT using different reservations in that space, it is now not possible to process a late check out for only one space. This is inconvenient, since in practice it happens that only one space needs a late check out and not the whole room/all spaces.

  9. We're new to MEWS and whilst the functionality is brilliant (thank you), our front of house team really struggle with the visual appearance of the timeline. Spending lots of screen time on a screen with poor visual appearance and contrasts is not healthy and inefficient as it is difficult to see the timeline at a glance - please could you look at improving visual contrasts both colours and lines between dates/spaces for improved accessibility.

  11. It would be very helpful if it was possible to freeze the overbooking lines on top of the timeline while scrolling (akin to freezing panes in excel). Doing that would make it a lot easier for Agents to solve those issues as they'd be able to instantly see where the overbooking could fit, without scrolling between the free spaces and the overbooking line.

  12. I really liked the old timeline where you could zoom in and out using the mouse wheel.

    It's nice that you can scroll the timeline using the mouse wheel now.

    My suggestion would be:
    Holding the macOS Command or Option or Control key + mouse wheel --> you can zoom in and out on the timeline.

    Same with Windows, probably simply the Control key + mouse wheel.

    With this, zooming in and out would be much simpler than it is right now.

  13. Option to directly add the CC in the process of making a new reservation. Otherwise you need to go to the profile and add it there. It cost extra steps / clicks and also the change to forget to add the CC.

    It shout also be linked to the rate you choose -> non refundable, always ask for a CC.

  14. When moving an already checked-in reservation at the timeline, there should be a pop up or similar to alert you that you are moving an already checked-in reservation and if you are sure you want to do that. We have had multiple accidents when we have moved a guest who has been checked in and then later we changed some room arrangements for other same day arrivals. This is also because the color for the checked-in reservations is just slightly darker grey which is very easy to miss.

  15. Currently, after a guest associated with a group block checks in and wants to be moved to a different room type, we have to adjust or add the room type to the block. This is a few added steps for the FD and reservations. I suggest that when the availability block is released then the guest reservations are available to actual inventory opposed to that within the block.

  16. Often employees need just simple information like how much persons are in the house now. For just such a simple qeustions it would be great to email them this information by the report mailing function with a simple mail or better any other messaging system. The excel report is to bulky peoble who just night this simple info stop jusing the excel email report.

  17. When creating a task, the task looks ordered and systematic with spaces between the different points and can even be numbered. But when printing the list, all spaces and numbering is gone and its all just one long sentence. Would be very helpful to have the printed list to look like the actual task description.

  18. Optional reservations should not be confirmable without adding a credit card as guarantee, Big corporations cannot have control of reservations that the clients were able to confirm without a credit card as guarantee this can cause lots of no shows and issues.

  19. It would be great if the line between 2 room types could be made ticker.
    Now it's sometimes difficult to distinguish the line between 2 rooms.

  20. When there is a reservation that cannot be allocated and we fix the issue and leave the space available for it, it would be helpful to have an "allocation button" to just allow Mews to try once again to allocate those reservations in the red overbooked area, instead of allocating them manually one by one, and without having to use the Optimize Space Allocation button in the timeline (which could move other reservations that are not locked in place).
