    If you are talking about the Operations App, you can. Long pressing the space will enter bulk selection mode and in the top right corner you can select new space state.

    What do you mean? There is assignee input on the task creation screen where you can select the employee.

    What about different kind of solution. Maybe adding assign button to the space detail or new swipe action to the space item in the list?
