    Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, this request will not be added to the Mews development roadmap and is unlikely to be delivered.

    We at Mews follow strict design guidelines and principles and customising the colours on the timeline is currently not something we will be working on. We constantly review our design choices and will keep usability and accessibility very close in our decision making process.

    could we have some open options on the internals on the guest profile please. at the moment the list is not working for us at all with most options not applicable and those that we need not on the list.
    have perhaps some standard ones (like return guest / complaint), but leave around 10 open fields per property which we are able to populate ourselves.
    currently it is as good as pointless having this feature

    it would be good if each property was able to put their own classifications in (as well). We need one for example for "luggage" and "no-interconnecting". At the moment the list is not flexible enough and is not applicable for all properties

    It would be handy if we could mark guests as smokers. our property is a non-smoking environment (as most places are now), so being aware of guests who do smoke is important in the allocation of spaces

    We invoice companies per month and although currently it shows as a package, the invoice isn't displaying the nightly rate (which is the same for all the nights!). it would be so much more efficient if the invoice could be set up similar to:
    01jan22 to 01feb22 - 31 nights @ £100.00 followed by the current columns of gross, VAT, nett.

    could we please move the routing rules tab to somewhere more "logical" as it is often impossible to find.
    it should be either under profiles (as that is where you go to set up a company or travel agent), or be part of the set up of a company / travel agent.
    alternatively it should be under finance and showing when opening the finance tab from the burger menu.
    currently it takes about 5 minutes to find it and often by accident as i still don't know where it is actually located!

    Hi Mewsers!
    Thank you for your input. We have updated the online check-out flow for guests with remaining balance on VCC.

    Guests with remaining balance on virtual credit card AND items to be paid upon check-out won’t be able to pay during the online check-out and they will be send to reception.

    They will still be able to review their bill in advance and add minibar items (if you have minibar) but they won’t be able to pay with their card, neither with VCC. Guests who has nothing to pay during online check-out can finish the online check-out even though their VCC is not fully charged.

    We are closely monitoring the occurrence of cases who cannot proceed via flow. So far it’s very low (2 out of 500 people). In case the occurrence will increase we will come up with more comprehensive solution.

    Hello, reservations longer than a year can be created through monthly bookable services functionality. The maximum length is restricted to 5 years.


    In the coming months, the team will focus on improving the functionality for long stays (monthly reservations) and introduce pro-rating, flexible housekeeping and product posting.

    when printing the "guests in house" report, in the options there should be the choice to tick "phone number" like you are able to click on "car registration". that would solve most of the problem

    Thanks Aldair,
    that is indeed helpful, but the report is so extensive meaning every time we run it we need to amend it. From a fire evacuation point you only really need guest name, room number, arrival & departure date, telephone number and if they need assistance evacuating. A ready made report would be much easier.

    and also for high-chairs please.
    we only have a limited number of cots / high-chairs / z-beds available and currently are not able to see which ones have been booked for what date. we are currently keeping a manual overview which is double work plus risk of errors when bookings get moved on dates or cancelled
