An error occurred while saving the comment Corina McQuat commentedI brought this up as well as we have had LGTB+ training on Booking.com and it is not a big change of system to accommodate anybody who doesn't feel comfortable for whatever reason to choose meal or female.
Either take away the field as compulsory or ideally have an I'd rather not specify selection, this is actually great for stats as we can then find out how many of our guests do not want to specify gender.

An error occurred while saving the comment Corina McQuat commentedIf a third person wants to purchase a gift such as champagne, flowers etc, currently the product is visible to the staying guest on the confirmation and dashboard.
Products have to be set up as stay products so they can be in the product report forecast, so there is no other option.
The only way to work around this at the moment is to add an additional product for every product with the external name * (asterix), so it does not show in the products of the confirmation etcCorina McQuat supported this idea · -

Hello Marion,
Actually, you can already do most of this. One way is to make the 4-person room (room 1), a parent of the 2-person room (room 1a). Then, when one of them is booked the other will not be available either.
You can also create a separate space category for room 1a, so you can manage its availability via restrictions separately from the other 2-person rooms. This way, you can even set a slightly higher price for it.
What we would not do is have 2 otherwise unrelated spaces and have availability of one depend on the availability of the other.
Please let us know if you have further questions.

same issue from my recent case:
If I have a room I deliberately upgraded to a higher category, I want this room to say there but I may still change the room allocation manually and not lock the room as the person can have any room within that category.
However if the room category is fully booked and I manually move the guests around, the upgraded person will just default back to original category. That makes no sense and is impractical.
