This status update is part of our ongoing work to simplify and streamline how our UserVoice feedback forum operates. We are reducing the number of statuses to two (Idea to Upvote + Released) to help manage expectations about where each idea stands and to minimize the number of status updates required from our product teams. This idea is perfect but asks for a lot of features. What we really need is the ability to set a rule and for mews to automatically create a housekeeping task according to this rule to every long stay. For instance, we could set the rules that we're changing bedsheets every 3 days and the housekeeping task would be created (and modified) automatically when the reservation is created (or modified).

Please be aware that personnal data protection makes it illegal in numerous countries to keep medical informations about guests after their stay. For hotels in those countries, it would be helpful for the information to be automatically deleted once the guests checks out.
