  1. Currently, with a self check-in through Operator, the only time the guest is informed about his/her room number is at the final step of the check in.
    We would like to set up an "After check-in" which the guest can look at if he/she doens´t remember the room number and no reception is there. In order to do so, we would need a placeholder for the room number! Would be great, thanks!

  2. Right now as we know Booking.com guests are assigned unique Alias emails for communication/profiles. If a guest receives a confirmation email (despite the property being in German for example) the email is automatically sent in English as Mews will by default sent it in English to any profile that does not have a language associated to it.

    This is despite the property being in a German environment.

  3. At the moment, in the front end, it is possible to use titles Mr, Mrs and Ms. In the API, this then becomes Mister, Misses, Miss.
    There is a difference between Ms and Miss and someone who is a Ms is not necessarily a Miss. There should be a way to indicate that a female guest does not want to share their marital status - by at least introducing two different titles for Miss and Ms in both Front End and API, but better still by updating the titels altogether to reflect modern age.

  4. We are using the automatic room assignment option from Top to Bottom but it would be great to be able to customize the order of rooms. As many others have mentioned there are rooms that properties would rather rent last for many reasons and would be ideal to prioritize them as last assigned regardless of the room number.

  6. It would be neat if the guests were able to check in on the kiosk and get their pin code there.
    Or have the pin code display directly in Mews.

  8. It would be much quicker if a new customer can be added with an ID card when the guest is at the reception to check in. In that case the details wouldn't have to be filled in manually.
    Besides that, I don't know if it's our scanner or the Mews software, but it does some strange things with the cards sometimes. Making men women, reading expiration dates as a date in the past (1930-2030), not reading numbers, changing nationality, sticking first names together... Quite annoying and confusing for our accountant.

  9. Hi there,

    I would like to suggest Mews add the "Stateless" Option in the Nationality list in order to be inclusive in case a guest is actually a Stateless person, to adequately communicate the guest data to the Police and to have more accurate data for our internal analysis

  10. To book on a company profile and all the notes shows up on a new reservation.

    On the company profiles there can specific info like Payment details, invoicing details, invoicing emails, other special aggreements like late check out. I would like these notes to appear on every future bookings to make it easier at check in/out for both guest and receptionist.

  11. It will be great if there will be the possibility of creating new email templates that we can send manually to any reservation that we want. This will save us a lot of time for example for all the reservations we have to charge with POS and the credit card is denied, we have send an email manually one by one in each case. It will be much easier if we can create new email templates on our own for cases like this.

  12. The booking engine has a great functionality allowing guests to book in one reservation rooms for different set of dates.
    In the flow of the reservation, however, there isn't a clear call for action, or distinction letting the consumer know that this is an option. Only someone that knows how the booking engine works, would know that it's possible and where the click.
    It would be great if there was clearer path to this functionality, or a call to action before the reservation is confirmed, asking the guest whether they need another reservation for different days, navigating them back to…

  13. It would be great if you could add custom fields to a customer profile to save specific information.

    We would need that for example to save information regarding our data privacy policy.

  15. As a hotelier, I want to sell packages with special offers to my guests through Distributor.

    Example: Enjoy the Valentine day in our hotel! Weekend stay, romantic dinner for two and a bottle of Champagne for 599 EUR.

    I want these to be sold as packages rather than set up as special rates.
    I want them to look like special offer.
    I want them not to be limited to a specific date.

  17. From a revenue perspective rates per night should be mentioned on the confirmation email not just the total amount of the stay (if guests shorten their stay)

  18. Would it be possible to charge or show the guests only the amount of the current stay. This is specially a request for the Mews Operator. The guests shouldn´t see any old or future payments.

  19. We would like the possibility to see the "Guest Profile Note" Under the "Manage window"
    At the moment we can only see the "General note" and we would like to see both.
    The only place we can see the Guest profile note is in reservation report.

  20. When we receive a booking from our PMS, a new profile is automatically created. However if we had already blacklisted a profile with the same name, we must think about merging both profile. The idea would be if there is at least one common information (email adress, phone number, CC details), Mews should send us a notification to check if this is the same guest or not, and then we decide to blackist or not with a link available in the email notification.
