  1. In France, it is now mandatory to give the postal code of the guest when you want to close the bill. So it would be very convenient to make it mandatory when the customer makes the reservation. Or to leave us the choice to add it as a mandatory information or not.

  2. Dear support,

    Some of our guests don't trust Mews.li. They search by google or directly on mews.li domain and see our hotelier login page which they clearly don't understand.

    It would be useful if non hotelier mews.li visitor would have more info about Mews and why they should trust mews.li.

    OR 2nd solution:

    Mews sends email from mews.com domain. problem solved :)

    For MEWS users that has an ID Scanner (like the 365id Scanner, www.365id.com) it should be a much more smooth and faster onboarding of customers if:

    • The ID scanner can be used to fill out the scanned data in the Profiles | Customer form (instead of typing all the data by hand). See figure 1.

    • The ID scanner can be used to fill out the scanned data when a New Reservation is made without having a customer already registered. E.g., make it possible to bring up the Profile page without…

  4. I would like to customize the check-out message on the kiosk.
    It now says 'If you need a copy of your bill, please contact us', but we do it automatically whenever we have an email address

  5. It would make it easier to keep the checked in reservations at the bottom of the operator screen and allow us to select them and add a guest who checks in later than the rest so that they can complete the check in too. Now there is no option to collect their information without undoing the check in, and that is not viable as we then could loose previous guests' info and signatures.

  8. If we are able to customise fields like "category" hotels can call it room, we can call it apartments etc. Just much less confusing than category for the user.

  10. Currently, it is possible to adapt our registration cards in MEWS. However, if we do so, the registration card that a guest sees during their online check-in does not change. Both registration cards should be similar with the same data required.

  12. Hello,

    I have 3 proposals to make:

    First of all, in Spain we use different forms for the travelers registration. Besides the options mews give it to us, we use another forms such as: Spanish residence permit, European residence permit or ID CARD. We cannot find it in the programme. We only find: National identity document, Driver license, Visa or Passport.

    I want to ask if it is possible to add that kind of types in our MEWS system.

    Also, In Spain we have two surnames. So when we have foreign people from all over the world with just one…

  13. It would be great if guests would receive an automatic e-mail after departure to review their stay and if we could choose to show these reviews to other guests in the distributor when choosing/booking a room.

    Alternatively, guest can be asked to provide review during online check-out as well.

  14. at the "arriving customer profile" and "in house customer profile" reports the E-Mail address is missing on the browser view.
    This view is used from reservation and reception to ensure that the profiles are completed.
    As the E-Mailadress is important for the whole communication (pre arrival, during stay, post departure and marketing) it is important to get an easy excess to the information on which profile the E-Mail address is missing.

  16. We're facing difficulties in some properties where under aged guests are checking in online. There should be a way to stop those online check in. At the moment they could just pick up the key on the operator kiosk and go to the room. Therefore we would accommodate them, without knowing they are under the allowed age, which is against the law. We do have the responsibility to control the age of the guest. This already happened and cause complains and frustrations on hotel and guest side.

  17. Why is it that if a name is entered incorrectly at reservation, that if it is updated in the system, it doesn't show up as changed on the timeline or the guest's dashboard?
    It's not until you go completely into the guest's profile that you can see the changes.
    EG: A guest uses the name Bob at reservation then later asks for it to be under Robert Dawson. The name Bob is the only thing that shows on the timeline and dashboard

  18. Display the description of the Rate Group on the payment page. It is cumbersome to users that the only way to communicate deposit and cancellation policy text is within each and every rate plan. It is not sustainable and lots of opportunity for error. The policy text should be associated with the rate group not the rate plan and should display on the payment page.

  20. When downloading the rooming list and opening the excel sheet. There doesn't seem to be any order to how the rooms are lined up.

    It would be good if there was some type of order so that when creating bigger group reservations, it is easier to fill in the rooming list.

    The most preferred way is if the rooming list could have all the space categories "clumped together" ie
