  3. Mews has a legionella prevention function. It automatically puts vacant rooms into dirty status after 7 days of being vacant. However, our Housekeeping and Maintenance system have a likewise function, which is way more operatable. Because I can adjust settings: I can choose the amount of days, type of notifications and to whom, etc. And, it belongs to those departments that do the legionella prevention. Mews just puts the rooms on dirty status and I have to go all the way into the history log of each individual dirty room to find out why it was put dirty; there's no…

  5. At the moment in order to put a room out of order, you need first to reallocate all the reservations assigned to that particular space. It can take a lot of time, specially if it is a long period.
    It would be nice if Mews could automatically reassign those reservations to another space.

  6. Housekeeping - assigning multiple employees (ie. 2) to the same space.

    Housekeeping would like to assign two housekeeping employees to the same room i.e. one for the bathroom and one for the remaining of the room.

  8. Have a link to directly downlad the api for the Mews Application for android and apple phones. As we have company pads and phones and do not want to use our private gmail accounts to access google appsstore.

  9. When you move a reserveration from one room to another, both rooms become dirty. Is it possible to add an option in stay for the new room (which is inspected)
    to stay inspected.

    That the room that the guest has moved to stays inspected. The prior rooms can stay dirty just the new room keeps it status. As after midnight inspected rooms become clean then dirty after housekeeping intervall. This way we can keep track of linen change and don't have to manually change it after every move.

    Just have as an option if other hotels don't use the system…

  10. Hello. When we have a late check out booking could the color of the reservation change? so whoever is using the system can see that there are people checing out later.
    it would helps out organizing the housekeeping and front desk tasks.

  11. To keep our team safe during the pandemic, we would like to automatically quarantine a room after a check-out for 24 or 48 hours before our housekeeping team enters the room to prepare it.

    This helps us protect our team, and gives guests confidence that the room is safe from COVID-19.

  12. At present the available Space Status are Dirty, Clean & Inspected (OOS & OOO).

    From a front office and housekeeping perspective this is limiting.

    Could you please consider the following please?

    VACANT READY - Inspected
    OCCUPIED DIRTY - Guest checked in
    OCCUPIED READY - Inspected stay over
    VACANT DIRTY - Guest checked out
    PICKUP - Room move and for housekeeping to inspect

    This would offer more clarity as to not only the status of the room but also the ‘condition’, meaning the physical status of the room (guest). This is important for the operation of a hotel.

  13. A push alert is provided on any room that are due, ‘To be Cleaned’ when the guest has checked out of that room so that housekeeping can take action right away.

If you go in to the space status report and view different dates the responsible person is based on the current day responsible person (i.e. Housekeeping lady 1 is responsible for room 101 on 27/10//20, according to the report the same persons was responsible for room 101 on 25/10/20 even though housekeeping lady 1 was not working that day or had repsonsibility for a different room)

    Would be great if Mews could store data for the responisble person each day, so you can easily track who was responsible for which room on which date and maybe let housekeeping manager assign…

  16. Until now we can lock the room one by one... It would be great if we can lock rooms by block and switch the room status easily. Now we must create, and delete to change the room status.

  19. When you unassign an employee from a space assigning a new one overrides the previous employee. Please add signal before you assign an employee to a room/floor which is already assigned to someone else.

  20. As for hostel, it would be great to have each bed counted as 1 space, so that total space amount reflects the exact amount of beds.
    We have an option to book the whole room, but also single beds in dormitory.
    Currently, every room and every bed counts as 1 space.
    It is confusing as for now 8-beds dormitory is counted as 9 spaces (8 beds as 8 spaces + the whole room as a separate space)!

    Furthermore, changing the dorm status (dirty->clean->inspected) does not affect the status of beds, we have change the status of every single bed one…
