Remove rights to optimize space allocation
We would like to be able to change the optimize space allocation function in Timeline so that you can assign it as a Permission under roles.
So not everyone has rights to use this feature.

Please revise the tool in general and adjust the rights. Not only does the button not deliver what it promises, namely to optimize room allocation. In our case - accidentally pressed, of course - it made things much worse and threw some reservations out of the rooms and mixed up the remaining rooms so much that the reservations without rooms were no longer easy to allocate. In addition, all services are directly “optimized” if you click on the button in the timeline in one service.

Hi everyone!
Rui here, Product Manager of the Users Team and responsible for permissions.
Thanks for the valuable feedback.
We're currently working on a new permissions system, which will be much more granular.
This permission will be included in the scope so that you can set it up on the user/role level.
You should expect it by mid 2025(Edited by admin) -

It is extremely important for us to not have this button available to everyone as it is frequently misclicked because of its position. If someone was to apply the changes in the timeline, the result for us would be a disaster. Please fix this feature.

Hi,
It's very important to remove this feature or hidden in somewhere especially because the Mews UI make some buttons very close to this "Optimize space allocation" and my team has pressed it accidentially few times. For example, when you open a booking details, the details is showing at right panel but the "cross" button at the left top corner of this panel is exactly besides the button of "Optimize space allocation". Now we can only resolve this by moving the mouse very accurate and pointing to the cross button. Please fix it asap either removing this feature (We tried and it makes no sense for such move) or redesign the UI so this button cannot be clicked too easy. -

We would only like some users to have the ability to optimise spaces using the button on the timeline. Please add a user right for this.
