it would be good if certain words or phrases could be highlighted in a task or made to bold font so that it stands out in the message.

Standalone PMS
I would love to see a standalone version of mews that doesn't run on a browser.
This would have two key benefits:
much faster loading times. We suffer from incredibly slow operating speeds all through mews, every time we press a button it has to spend time loading, which in cue means customers have to wait longer. creating terrible customer experience.
ability to have an offline mode. We also suffer not only from occasional mews outages, due to slow/unresponsive actions - but also bad internet where we are, which can often be very temperamental and drop out often during adverse…

Can we have unique "favicons" to help distinguish between MEWS.li and help.MEWS.com?
Currently the favicons in the browser tabs look the same for these two sites, which makes navigating between multiple tabs longer than it should (say you have 2 help pages open and 2 MEWS tabs - jumping between them can be tedious since the tab (fav)icons are the same.

Close multiple tasks in a single action
Sometimes it may happen that multiple tasks are created e.g. when a group booking has been created but the credit card payment has failed. It takes quite some time to close each task individually. It would be beneficial to select multiple tasks and close them all together.

nights, products and additional expenses totals
It would be nice if the night, products and additional expenses, shown at the right side of the screen in a reservation, could be totals and be folded out if clicked on for details. This way long stays do not result in a long list you have to scroll down, to see the notes at the bottom.

Extend Action log with the time it takes to complete a check in
I would like to see how long it takes my reception staff to do a check in. If the activity log showed the time from a reservation opened to the time they check it in.

delete members from message thread
We use the Mews messages for some internal announcements.
It would be great it there is an option to delete (internal) messages threads and to remove members from the thread.

Scheduling out of service and out of order rooms (room management)
At the moment you're not able to schedule a future out of service (still selling) room, while you can schedule a out of order (no longer selling) room. I would need to be able to schedule out of service as well. For example in situations where we have maintenance go into the room and the reception and the housekeeping staff shouldn't use the room, but we still want to sell the room as it will be done same day.

Add turnaway reason in reservation screen
On the reservation screen, if the reservation is not saved (guests changed his mind for a reason) I want to be able to enter a turnaway reason: Price too high, room type not available...

task ring/bell signal
It would be great that we could set a ring/bell signal for some urgent tasks, like for: Late check out, wake-up call, any other urgent task. So you hear that something urgent needs to be done, also when you do not look at the desktop screen.

It would be easy to be able to draw an excel file / overview of all the created products with their accounting categories.

Add the option to preview or directly print registration cards
why we need to have so many tabs just to get an print of registration form while checking in a guest. something like a one shot go and the print is ready to go

Check-out bill options check marks
To choose between the options "check out balanced bills" and "check out with unbalanced bill" you have to set the check mark. As the check marks will be set by clickling somewhere in the whole line, it's very easy to set the wrong check mark by accident. The check mark should be set only by clickling directly on the check mark box.
