Make the reservation purpose customisable
It would be really helpful if we could customise the reservation purpose drop down to add our own purposes and to then be able to report of those for example we have emergency stays and end of life etc and to be able to record this as the reservation purpose would be a huge help.

Would it be possible to add certain forms to Mews (like a laundry list) which we are then able to email to the guest through the system.

room number on reservation overview report and guest dashboard
would it be possible to make the room number guests are allocated to or have stayed in more prominent on the overview and dashboard.
also, it is very annoying you are not able to see the full name. perhaps move the three icons on the right corner further down?

Creating Notes in Tasks
When a note is created in a Reservation there are times that a corresponding Task must be created based upon the notes. These are currently two separate functions.
Example:
Note: Wedding Package
Task: Wedding Package, deliver chilled Champagne, cheese and crackers by 4pm, 6/21/21.It would be great if the Note section you had an option to create a corresponding task at the same time. Thereby insuring a specific note is not missed as a Task.

Add a product
When you add a product on the reservation screen, it would be nice to be able to select what date you want it for instead of being put for the all stay and after have to cancel the date you don't want it

Have the "Tasks" doughnut also display "Future" tasks!
It makes sense to be able to see not only imminent (Pending) or past-date (Missed) tasks but also upcoming (Future) tasks on the main page ("Tasks" doughnut) - without having to go into the report every single time.
The current state of affairs makes it often necessary to remind staffers of upcoming tasks outside of that section (or outside of MEWS e.g. emails, sticky-notes et al.), which does not make for a stellar user experience.

aperçu des réservations (Reservation overview)
L'écran "aperçu des réservations" montre les arrivées en commençant par les prénoms et non les noms. Ceci serait plus simple d'avoir les noms des clients EN ENTIER, même sans le prénom!
The "Reservation overview" screen shows arrivals starting with first names and not last names. It would be easier to have the names of the clients IN FULL, even without the first name!

Record multiple travel agencies for improved origin segmentation
When we receive bookings from destination management companies, the original source of the bookings often come from travel agents before they are sent to a destination mangement company and finally the PMS. In Mews, we are only able to view a single travel agency which means that we can only see the name of the destination management company; we are not able to see the name of the travel agencies that made the original bookings.
We would like our sales and marketing teams to have insights on the travel agencies that are making reservations.

add the payment in the POS MEWS so that we can invoice a product and charge the customer directly (for the bar, the restaurant...).

When you use 'Messages' in the Mews Commander app from your phone, it would be useful to go directly to the reservation as you can do when you work for a computer. Thank you team

As a reservations agent I would like to quickly view the tasks assigned to me when I start my shift.

Create tasks from the messaging screen
As a reservations agent I often receive requests via chat for extra products, services or items to be added to a room prior to a guests arrival, for example extra pillows. I would like to be able to create tasks for the correct department when a request has been made.

Would it not be easier to be able to set up a new travel agents without having to create a new company first.
also, the routing rules should be part of the company and travel agent set up and not another unrelated action.

Tasks for reservation status updates from optional to confirmed
Guests have the opportunity to change the reservation status from optional to confirmed in Mews guest services portal (former Navigator). It would be great if a task could be triggered to notify staff in the hotel that a reservation status change has occured.

Early check-ins and late checkouts charged automatically
Currently when a guest arrives early or leaves late, the hotels decide whether to charge such a guest extra money for the additional time spent in the room. Most properties set up special products for early CI / late CO. These products can be then posted to the bill by the receptionist. This, however, requires additional manual work.

It would be great to have a button to check-in the customer while we are on the bill windows
I ask for payment at the arrival, once the client has paid I have to close several windows to get to the check-in button. That would be great to have this button just after closing a bill.

Message visibility
Customer Messages should be attached directly to the customer profile, so that all hotel staff can easily access/read/react to the conversation.
In that way, only unread messages would appear in the general customer message board and that would clear the clutter.
