Helping our Google oriented customers use the official MEWS booking engine is essential. We just need to have the Google link land on Step 2 (Categories) of the booking engine instead of Step 3 (Rates). Then, the guest could see all the choices available and the best rates. The more MEWS can minimize OTA commissions, the happier and more loyal your customers will be. In addition, there are more and more sites these days that are impersonating our direct web sites, but they are not valid. Hurry up with this simple change please.

100% agree. My guests are traveling last minute during the pandemic and want to see the next available date where my hotel is available. They aren't traveling on a specific date (ex/ Monday) where they want MEWS to show them the next available Monday. It seems that different "next available date" algorithms could be a simple configuration change within MEWS, so both algorithms could be supported.

Hello from the Mews product team. Unfortunately, this request has not received the necessary upvotes to be added to the Mews development roadmap and is unlikely to be delivered. Thank you for sharing your suggestions.

We are very interested in hearing which fields you would like to see added to the profiles. But we are keen on keeping a consistency between our customers.

Very keen to extend identity scanner on-site to include Canadian Province driver's licenses. As a first step, identity scanner could simply capture an image of the driver license, then it is a simple photo image and could be used for any valid piece of ID. The guest services agent would ensure the address information is correct within the MEWS guest profile.

Classifications particularly helpful to us would "Food Allergy" for guests with an important condition and "Restaurant" for guests that like our restaurant, so we can proactively work with them on a reservation pre-arrival. The icon on the timeline reminds our staff of this "classification" during the guest's stay.
