This status update is part of our ongoing work to simplify and streamline how our UserVoice feedback forum operates. We are reducing the number of statuses to two (Idea to Upvote + Released) to help manage expectations about where each idea stands and to minimize the number of status updates required from our product teams. it is important sometimes to send the client a link to only authorize their credit card. For example, if a 3rd party pays for the guest, in this case, we can use their card but we can not charge them upon arrival.
Old days this was done via sending the client an credit card authorization form, however - this is not PCI compliant. Therefore a solution to replace this credit card authorization form is required. -

Create a payment page in just a few clicks and share the link with our guests. This development would allow us to share the link in email, text message, web chat and WhatsApp private conversations with our guests. We should be able to choose between debit or pre-authorization.
