  1. It would be handy if it would be possible to directly assign a task to someone in a reservation, for example extra bed for housekeeping, as extra next to linking a reservation to a task.

    Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.

    We are happy to inform you that we currently support the ability to create and assign a task directly from a reservation.

    In order to perform this action:

    1. Select a reservation > select the status tab >
    2. Scroll down and select “Create task”. 3. This will open the task form where you can both, create a task and assign it to either an employee or department.

  2. Idea:

    • Having Dummy spaces is immensely helpful for hotels, so we can place those guests over there. These are those guests who are not going to arrive or who have booked with an invalid cc. By placing the reservation in dummy, we keep them on a waiting list, while at the same time keeping the reservation active on the OTA channel!

    • It allows us to give preference to guests who pay and weed out fake/ fraud bookers

    • Dummy allows us to directly release the room online and keep the timeline sorted, without having to change the occupancy/ availability manually every…

  3. When we charge the breakfast, the price is the same for the adults of for the children we can't make a difference. It'd b great if we can fix this: the products are adjusted with the number of adults/children in the room

  4. A guest stays in the hotel for a longer period of time. Now he has to move to another room. It would be nice if there is a possibility to move this room. For example with drag and drop. As an alternative, the booking should be marked with a symbol so that you can recognize the guest is staying longer in the house!

    Hi Emmeran,

    It is currently possible to split a reservation during a guests stay.

    You can perform this action by opening a reservation → selecting the “properties” tab. In the section “Split reservation”, select the date and time that the guest will begin their stay in the new room.

    Once you’ve select “Ok”, you will be able to view two reservations for the guest. The current reservation will be labelled “Checked in”, and the reservation for a future date will be labelled “Future”.

    From here you can move the either reservation to a desired space.

  5. every time you complete a task, the filters disappear / clear. that has never happened before and is rather annoying to be honest. it is a waste of time having to (re)set them after each action.

  6. In Manager Analytics when selecting a specific Space Category type, the occupancy percentage will be shown based on the total number of rooms within this category only.

    Is it possible to implement a way to see the occupancy of the selected category based on the total number of rooms in the property?

    This is useful for hotels to calculate the RevPar afterward.

  7. These filter does not provide enough detail to inform you where your guest's are arriving from.
    It would be very helpful to have the Reservation Report include the City and Country details for the guest. Where the guests are from can often be a conversation starter for the front desk staff, especially if they have travel experience/knowledge.
    Also, at this time of COVID, it is also helpful to know if the guest is from a locked down or red zone area.
    Suggestion: Have the City and Country fields from the Customer Profile display on the Reservation Report.

    We are so pleased to let you know that your feature request partially exists. If you export Reservation report, you will be able to see country. Also, Customer statistics report can be grouped by nationality in Mews directly.

    As per the city, this request has not received the necessary upvotes to be added to the Mews development roadmap and is unlikely to be delivered.

  8. it would be great if you would be able to filter the availability report per space category - when you have several space categories, you are not able to see everything on the one screen and are not able to see the space category or date when scrolling further to the right on the time line

  9. We have more than enough of different kinds of stay items for halfboard and other food peroducts. Could you give us a saved report to print all items used only on one report? I mean as we use the operations/product report but we could have a fixed report to show all halfboard items and breakfast and special dinners? Like a food and beverages report. Please.

    Hello,

    I’m happy to announce that it is now possible to create multiple bookable services in Mews and start offering offices, meeting rooms, desks or parking spots to your guests.

    There is a dedicated timeline and reporting for each new service. Services can be offered on daily or overnight basis.

  11. Display future reservations on the dashboard in the reservations block. Currently you have to run a report choosing the booking date to find the next reservation. It would be very helpful to see who's coming next, even if it's in a few days.

  12. Add a remove/delete option for the items you add in the billing section. Rigth now the only option to remove/delete it is to post another item/service/product (in negative).

  13. It would be useful to have a mail template to be sent a few days before the guest arrival, as a reminder, but also to let them have directions to the hotel, useful info regarding events during their stay etc.

    We have template called “Before start” which is automatically sent 48 hours before the guest’s arrival.

    This template is partially customizable. You can customize Subject, Headline, and Paragraph. (please see the attachment)

  14. Include on the Mailing list a message to send to customers that had the credit card transaction declined. The mail is to inform them that the credit card transaction for the payment of the booking has been declined and asking them to update the credit card information within 24 hours to avoid the cancelation of the booking. Include on the mail a link where the customer can access their profile and update the payment information.

  15. Report that separates OTA's by 'Multiple Selected Travel Agencies'

    Meaning, we can pull a report for all revenue from all booking and also a report for just OTA'S (Not Brand Website), with a percentage against all bookings

    Hello Jodie,

    Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. You are currently able to group by “Reservation source” in the reservations report in order to see a list of all reservations separated by OTA. If you view the report in “Totals” mode, you will be able to view the percentage of reservations from each OTA.

    In order to view the report separated by travel agencies, you can select the filter group by “Travel agency”. If the report is “Totals” mode you will be able to see a breakdown of revenue from each agency as well as a breakdown of a percentage against the bookings.

  16. It would be useful if a check / select box can be added next to an individual date range in a reservation rather than selecting/deselecting the whole reservation block with all the dates booked.
    If one of the dates ranges room type need to changed for example I do not have to select it all one by one, time consuming if it is a group booking of 40 rooms per day

  17. It would be very useful to have an occupancy report/overview of all the groups per stay day / per status. Then a second layer on picked up vs non picked up rooms per group. To determine wash and create accurate forecasting.
