Property Operations and PMS: this is the forum for posting your ideas and comments on all aspects of hotel operations, from reservations to events to metrics and reports. You'll find a category here for each of the major topics in property management, and if you can't find the right category, please search or post to the Other category. Where we can, we'll move ideas around to group them as intuitively as possible for the product managers working on the PMS.

Please keep in mind that there is a separate forum for topics specific to the operations of hotel chains and groups. Go to the Multi-property management forum for anything about portfolio management or rate, product, package and restriction functionality across multiple properties.

  5. It would be helpful if the task section had the option to add pictures when creating a task. This is essential for both cleaners and maintenance team where having a picture that shows the issue is vital.

  7. Change all room status to a status in a single action. Restrict this with a user right, as only Admins should be able to perform this action.This will help our Implementations team when setting up of the property & in case of reconstructions. It takes quite a while to change 200 rooms to 'Out of order' and place a note in it.

  9. Providing a great experience often comes down to the very last detail, which is why little things, such as turndown service, can make a big difference in a guest's stay. As an additional space status, including turndown as part of your operations, could help add that special touch to guests' rooms during their stay.

  11. As housekeeping complete their daily cleaning schedule, they are often responsible for restocking minibar products or other room amenities. Therefore, adding stay product details within the Commander application could provide stocking information and reporting capabilities so that each room is prepared exactly right for the next arriving guest.

  12. Add the calendar to the Commander app, to be able to jump to a date other than today.It's in the report, so add it to app too. Used for planning by HSK executive.

  14. Nous utilisons l'application 1check pour gérer les chambres à nettoyer.
    Nous avons la possibilité de laisser un commentaire pour la femme de chambre.
    Actuellement MEws envoie à 1check le commentaire laissé dans la partie NOTE de MEWS.
    Le problème c'est que MEWS ne différencie pas le commentaire pour la reception ou le commentaire pour la partie MENAGE.

    Il faudrait avoir une case où l'on peut laisser un commentaire uniquement à l'attention de le femme de chambre : exemple : 2 lits
