    This status update is part of our ongoing work to simplify and streamline how our UserVoice feedback forum operates.   3. We don't have 24 hour reception so it would be helpful if, when reception closes, we can put a restriction / stopsell on the remaining rooms so no one can book them after hours

    We are currently adding a Restriction with the start date and end date being the same to get around this issue
    Blocking multiple rooms is also time consuming and alters management reports

    As great as Mews is, I've used 6 other PMS and this is the first one to not have a feature similar to this

  4. possibility to add a pop up alert on check out screen for very important notes for example :
    routing instructions, billing instructions, etc.

  6. When managing different bookable services, like we are. It would be helpful if you can show the name of the bookable service on the booking engine. As it can get confusing for guests to see the hotel's name on top when booking the apartments they manage under a different name across the street.

    Or, like us, when you manage multiple small properties in a single Mews environment, each with it's own name and address.

  7. If rooms are checked in, the status of the room can still be set to inspected.
    We think it would be useful that the room status in that case can only be set to clean and not inspected.
    Otherwise, the room will be available for self-check-in at the Mews Kiosk.
    Only in the last step - the key encoding - the guest is informed that Self-CI cannot be completed successfully.
    Until then, however, the guest is informed that check-in would be possible, including charging of his credit card.

  8. Il faudrait pouvoir avoir une alerte lorsque l'on fait une résa et qu'on rappelle le profil d'un client black list, que le client n'est pas le bienvenue...
    Actuellement, il faut attendre de regarder la résa sur "gérer" pour s'apercevoir que le client est black listé.

  10. Although the name of the guest appears in the reservation details, it would be great to be able to add the name of the guest (as a placeholder) in the text and subject of the email for the "Booker Confirmation".
    For example:
    "Dear Isabel (booker),
    Thank you very much for your booking for Edward Wilson. Etc."

  11. During the rate setting we use round figures ( 99€ for one night) but when we use a discount of 10% for example, the rate for the room will show up on the website like this : 89.1€. This is not efficient.
    Is this possible to choose how we want to display the rate, in fact we would like to use round figures on the website, the idea is the round it.

  14. Instead of overbooking, we use Inquired Reservations as a waiting list to optimise occupancy. It'd be great to get notified when a reservation is cancelled that there are inquired reservations for that date which can potentially now be confirmed.

  15. It would be very usefull for us to have a porduct categorie which is chagred per stay (for example on the first or last night) for channel managers.

  16. We would lwant a smart ristriction to have a minimum stay of 2 nights without any revenue loss of open one nights. For example: guest A books from Mo-Wed, guest B books from Fri-Sun -> Thur night will stay open due to the current possibilities in ristrictions.

  18. Frequently a guest may be searching for a one night stay and if no one night stay options are available for room the default response in Mews is "the room is not available". It would be more accurate to respond that "the room is only available for 2-nights, 3-nights, etc" The guest would at least know there is option to stay if they opt for more nights but the current default response implies that there is no availability and if they had known there was option for multiple nights it is possible they would book the room.

  19. Bonjour, serait-il possible d'avoir une icône "parking" sur le profil du client dans le calendrier pour rapidement voir combien nous avons de lésa parking ?
    En effet, à ce jour, la gestion sur MEWS du parking n'est pas du tout lisible et pratique... Merci d'avance pour votre retour. Lucas

  20. At this moment, it is not possible to send one confirmation to the guest/company that includes both hotel rooms and meeting rooms as they are two different bookable services.

    It would be great if one confirmation can be send that includes hotel rooms and meeting rooms.
