Diffusive overbooking strategy also pushed to channel manager
Currently in MEWS you can set a diffusive overbooking strategy, meaning when overbooking in lower room type availability is taken out of higher room types. This to avoid overbooking on house level.
However this is not forwarded to the channel manager. Meaning that even when MEWS is not bookable anymore, online on the OTA's we still are.
It would be great if this feature would be pushed (automatically) to the channel manager as well (when MEWS strategy diffusive is chosen).

Make "Guarantee information" available at reservations from channel manager
We need to see "Guarantee information" sent by the OTAs (especially booking.com) via the channel manager. This data is included in the xml file sent by the channel manager to Mews.
Without seeing this information receptionist must open the reservation not only in Mews but also in booking.com to make sure whether the guest must pay at the reception or he/she already paid at the OTA and there is a virtual credit card available for the reservation.

Add adult and child number parameters to deeplink supported parameters
Add adult and child number parameters to deeplink supported parameters. It will be convinient to room booking chatbot. Client enter number of adults and children for search in chatbot and then receive results with booking engine link to continue booking process. For client will not be necessary enter person number twice (on chatbot and on MEWS sbooking engine site).

Dynamic Packages - not integrated
Dynamic packaging (add-ons) is unfortunately currently not supported on the interface between SynXis and MEWS. This functionality is very important as the hotels should be able to see in MEWS that a dynamic package has been booked and to distinguish between the room price and package itself.
MEWS could you kindly reach out to Sabre to configure this within the integration as many hotels are asking for this feature currently?

Mobile discount option
We should be able to have the option of offering mobile rates discounts in the booking engine such as most of booking engines and OTAs.

Add maxAdults and maxChildren (or similar) to distributorAvailabilityLoaded event on each room in availableRooms
Currently occupancy or capacity information (adultCount, childCount) is only available in event data after the user has selected a room, however the data is available in the UI when the list of rooms is shown to the user.
For 3rd party tools (like price comparisons widgets) that need to compare rooms with capacity information this presents a real data accuracy problem.
If the data could be exposed on each availableRoom in the distributorAvailabilityLoaded event it would not only ensure the event is consistent with the UI but also improve the accuracy of third party tools.

Manage product rates depending on the date
Be able to modifiy the product rate depending on the date booked. For example, if you have "Dinner" as a product and its price is changing depending on the day of the week (weekdays or weekends) or the period of the year (Christmas, August...) it is going to be awesome to be able to change its price for every single day you need to.

Pre-Authorizations - correct wording
Hi Mews team,
We are using Mews Distributor for our Pay on Arrival dates with activated 1% Pre-authorization on credit/debit cards.
However, the Distributor states that customer will "pay" the 1%.
For example, if the whole booking costs £350.00, the customer will be pre-authorized for £3.50.
Mews Distributor currently states that the customer will "pay £3.50".This is incorrect, as full payment, not a remainder, will be taken on arrival.
Can we please have the wording changed from "pay" to "pre-authorized" or similar.

Manually set the default date in the booking engine
The booking engine always defaults to tomorrows date

Currency select should be change automatically
Price shown on Booking engine is always in Euro first.
This is not convenient for guests who book outside euro countries.
If guests select their language then rates change in their selected currency automatically.

Change text in the Distributor widget comparing our prices with booking.com / expedia / hotels.com
In our MEWS Distributor we have a widget comparing our prices with booking.com / expedia / hotels.com: "Book online, get more"
I would like to be able to change this text. I would like to change it into "Book online, pay less" and change "prices" in "rates"2 votes -
