  3. Currently only the owner of a reservation receives the online check-out email and is the only one that can pay the balance of the reservation before being able to check out. When there are multiple guests that have bills that need to be settled, if they cannot pay their bills online themselves, the group in that room won't be able to check-out online. My suggestion is that all guests in a reservation be able to receive a check-out email and pay for their Bill.

  5. Stripe is providing Chargeback Insurance (at 0.4% of every transaction), would it be possible to have this option at Mews?

  6. There should be a similar way to top up Adyen MarketPay Merchant Balances similarly to the way we have it set up for Stripe.

  7. At the moment Mews drops down a green box saying payment successful even when a payment needs verifying by a guest. This means many verifying payments get missed. I suggest when a payment needs to be verified a blue box drops down and says Payment needs to be verified. This way staff notice this straight away and payment gets verified by the guest then and there.

  8. When Mews automatically takes payment from credit card it will at the same time create debet and credit deposit transactions. Credit card payment will be closed with other transaction and other one stays open on the reservation with all the booked items. Would this be possible with all the manual payment types also? We need this feature for our book keeping to keep on track where the money comes from. And if these payments are not on closed bill it the will not be shown on the payment report as our accounting needs.

  9. For offline or online reservations, with balanced bill due to another payment method than CC, the trigger should not try to charge the CC given by the guest.

  13. Right now, preauthorizations will expire by default after 7 days. It would be great if we could choose that these preauthorizations expire after X number of days (for example, 24 hours after check-out).

  14. We accept Visa and MasterCard but not Amex cards. However, if customers use their Amex card via App pay, Mews payment initially accepts and checks this and only later rejects it. In the meantime, the amount appears to have been debited from the guest, which regularly leads to difficulties

  15. Swish is the leading payment method in Sweden used by 80% of the addressable population in both peer-peer payments but also widely used offline in B2C and as digital payment method (offered through partners such as Klarna or Adyen). Swedish hotels that have a large local customer base or for example sell a lot of gift cards would assume Swish is enabled also for Mews Payments.

  16. the scheduled payment overview on the payment tab is great, but it would be fantastic if we could amend the timing of those scheduled payments.
    for example when you know that hotelbeds pays 30 days after departure, you can amend the payment scheduled for the day of arrival.

  17. Hey, it should be possible to pay with Amazon Pay during the guest journey. Lots of customers are using Amazon Pay and it would be beneficial to customers & hotels.

  20. Over 80% of all customers leave a check-out before the order is finally completed. The reason for this is a lack of payment options. We want Mews to open up so that companies such as Paypal, Klarna, Vipps (for Norway) etc.++ can be integrated with the check-out solution in Mews' booking engine. The company "Dintero" collects all these payment solutions and is open to be integrated with Mews.

    This is critical for us, and especially in a market in Norway where digital payment solutions are so well implemented in the customer journey.
