Thank you for your feedback.
The housekeeping system in Mews is currently based off cleaned rooms being inspected by a supervisor including for overnight stays. When rooms are inspected, they are then turned dirty overnight.
Would you be able to share some examples of why rooms would not be inspected by a supervisor or manager for overnight stays?

Mews Product teamAn error occurred while saving the comment Robert Smit commentedNeed to have the ability when using the Assigned filtered spaces and assigned to a specific housekeeper NOT reappear when assigning the next housekeeper. The full list of rooms to be assigned, in this case Dirty Status, reappears. Therefore, you have to remember the spaces you have already assigned to avoid reassigning a space to another housekeeper. This workflow does not make sense. The solution would be to assign spaces and the already assigned spaces to do appear again once assigned. When you assign to the next housekeeper, only spaces that are unassigned show up in the filter. However, the bigger issues on the Space Status Screen, you are unable to assign housekeepers AND the assigned housekeepers from the previous day are present and are not reset overnight. Therefore, if you were to assign rooms you are actually overriding the previous days housekeeper. As a result, the spaces never become unassigned. Very confusing for a simple process.

This way it would populate the time in the guest reservation and the front office and housekeeping team could prioritize check-in and room cleaning based upon the guest arrival time. In Mews, the Arrival can be sorted so that Guests arriving earlier do show up. However, currently all the times default to the properties arrivals time unless the guest provides this information during the reservation process. Why prepare and clean a room at 10 am if the guest has told us they would be arriving at 8pm. Makes the team more productive. Also, this could be used to upsell Early Arrival for a fee (product) if the properties has this feature.

An error occurred while saving the comment Robert Smit commentedSetting up a new user in Mews can be confusing. You have to select the correct attribute each time for non-Admin users. In other systems, admin user creates profiles or templates for each position. Front Desk Agent, Concierge, Reservations Manager, Reservations Agent, Front Desk Supv, etc... and pre-assigns attributes to each position making is simple to create a new user.
A new front desk agent starts and I duplicate the front desk agent template that has all the rights necessary. I can deselect a particular attribute, if needed. However, if the user profile template is updated, all users created using this profile are updated with the new attributes. There are currently 28 attributes, Admin (Selects ALL Attributes) and Receive Customer Messages.

An error occurred while saving the comment Robert Smit commentedWhen a Voucher Rate is given to the guest and booked in Mews Booking Engine, public rates and add-ons still show in the rate and product selection. It would be great to be able to suppress these Public Rates and Add-on by Voucher. In some cases, we only want the guest to see the Voucher (Special Rate) and nothing else. In other cases, we want to limit the number of Add-on or be able to select a few if the guest would like to add. Example, I have a special corporate rate and use a voucher. When I use the booking link, it shows me all the public rates and also the add breakfast product (this is fine) but then also shows Champagne and Cheese, Spa Package, etc... that as a corporate customer I may not want to select. However, I may want to add an early arrival or late departure. I would be good to be able to limit the products and other public rates with Vouchers.

In the Space Status Screen filters, we would like the ability to select a group of filters rather than the selection that is offered. We need our housekeepers to be able to check Departed, Departing, Out of Order and Out of Service Daily. We do this now by creating separate reports, manually writing down the room numbers and adding them on a separate sheet. It would be good to be able to select multiple filters to better handle room assignments and room checks on a daily basis.
