  1. To enhance guest experience and returning guest recognition it is required to share guest data between properties. This includes guest historical stays, preferences and complaints for all properties and not just the local one. Staff should then be easily recognize that this guest already stayed in another property to maintain best guest service.

  3. Create different types of confirmations for different types of rates. For example for the holidays we want our guests to receive the right confirmation with all their reservation contains.

  4. It would be easier if we could directly see via the reservation if emails of confirmation, facture sent, ... has been already sent and even if the delivery has failed.

  5. Maybe add a feature of whenever you click on a guest profile a pop up trace of any important information can be seen first hand ie (Special occasion, take payment of VC, route payment) a

  6. To be able to choose which fields are visible in the reservation confirmation. It would be great to uncheck some of the values, such as rate name or product for certain costumers, but currently you can only delete the entire row (reservation detail) which is not an option.

  7. Now, the automatic reminder and cancellation e-mails are send to the guest and not the booker. Even if the guest has no e-mail, the booker (or anybody else) does not receive an automatic reminder and cancellation. As we have a agreement with the booker and not with the guest, it should be the booker who must receive the automatic reminder and cancellations. Now, bookings are being canceled automatically (when not reconfirmed before the deadline), without notifying the booker, who did originally receive the confirmation. This is a major flaw of MEWS. The booker should receive automatic reminders and cancellations!

  9. When a specific rate is booked, automatically populate the company to the reservation. E.G. If you book the rate "MEWS" the system will add "MEWS" as a company to the reservation

  10. At the moment, in the email which is send to the properties there is missing the travel agency and the date of the reservations. Those two extra information would be great to have as it allows to have all the information at the first sight without going into the reservation. E.g. when it is a failed settlement at the same day of the arrival, we would ignore this email, as the guest will then pay later upon check-in.

  11. While completing customer profiles, one of the most important pieces of data includes payment card details. For this reason, an additional field for these card details could be very beneficial to streamline that data collection process. Manage your profiles with the most important information first.

  12. Currently, the bookable service mail templates are set for all guests depending on their booking status.

    For personalization of the guest journey it would help if we can sent a customizable mail to several rate groups. This way business guests can receive additional information relevant to them as well as leisure guest who book a specific rate group (hotel offer for example). It would be nice if we can choose the moment in the mail queue when the mail will be sent.

    One template would not suffice, it needs be able to be personalized for multiple rate groups. So perhaps…

  13. Currently when there is a task i.e. saying a payment request was missed, one has to copy paste the name of the guest to search for the actual payment request. A direct link would be better

  16. This solution would allow the hotels to create "categories" of products and offer multiple versions of the same product.

    Example: the product (category) will be "Ski pass" for example, and the you can choose from a list of different passes (1-day, 2-day, child, adult...)

    Another example: a product of Excursions and a list to choose the different excursions options they have.

  19. It would be really useful to have an option to shorten booking links directly within the platform, without having to rely on external websites like bit.ly or others. Currently, the booking link in Mews can get very long, which isn't ideal for sharing.

    I think this addition would improve the user experience, making it more efficient and streamlined.

  20. The AVS marketplace connection uses the tax identifier to identify the age category of the guest for the local tax. A feature that pre-fills the tax identifier (based on age of the guest) would make the life of hotels that have to use AVS a lot easier.

    For example:
    if guest is an adult, always set XX in tax identifier field.
    if guest has the age of 13-17, always set XY in tax identifier field.

    In 99% of the cases we would leave this untouched, but we would need the possibility to change the field (best case via drop down…
