DOEL van reservering is een verplicht veld met 3 prefixes (student, recreatie, zakelijk) - voor ons zorghotel niet relevant en het is niet aanpasbaar. aangezien het ook een verplicht veld is in de online kiosk hebben we daarom alle mails uitgezet. Het zou goed zijn als je daar aanpassingen in **** doen zodat het past bij het hotel.

  3. It would be useful is the Kiosk and the Guest Portal (online check-in) could display different products. Currently they use the same list of promoted products. This causes a problem at times when the hotel is unmanned and the guest checks in and adds a product (e.g. a birthday celebration pack) but there are staff onsite to deliver it to them. It is fine when they are doing online check-in as there is time before they arrive to prepare the product.

We've just tested conversion on the mews booking engine vs siteminder and mews is significantly lower and what appears to be the key fix is to allow the site visitors to see all bookable spaces/rooms/packages available on step 1 in combination with date selector so they can refine down to preferred room and dates. I've seen multiple other requests which suggest the same issue

  5. Let the hotels decide if the guest's e-mail should be optional instead of default at the kiosk.

    Since it's not a legal requirement in DK it's critical for us that we cannot change it in the "Check-in form"

  8. large company books a room for a visitor. The company wants a cost center number printed on the invoice. e.G.: HR00012345 c/o John Snow. I see there is a workaround when using a booking number in the Travelagency/OTA field, but when booking is done via OTA I can't use that work around anymore.....

  9. We would like to be able to remove the property logo from e-mail templates. The FAQ (https://help.mews.com/s/article/Can-I-remove-duplicate-property-logo-in-emails?language=en_US) now describes to remove the logo from your HTML template. However, we want to use a different logo in our mail templates versus the other places that the property logo appears (booking engine, invoices etc.).

  10. When merging guest profiles, only one phone number and one email is saved. Some guests use different phone numbers and emails for different purposes. We need the ability to consolidate all the guest's information on one profile. Also, a whatsapp option would be great to have. Thanks!

  12. We're currently experiencing an issue with our online check-in flow where the guest is uncertain about what confirmation code to enter when completing their check-in. This only applies to our OTA guests as that is a different booking confirmation number than the Mews one.

    I was wondering if there is a way to make the Mews confirmation numbers match the OTA ones so that we can correct this at the source.

  13. This way front of house operations weill not affect rates shown in the IBE
    Many hotels have a lower rate in FOH to make currency exchanges, but this affects the rate shown on the IBE

  15. The country code should no longer be transmitted via Channel Manager. This transmits the country of the IP address and can no longer be deleted from the profile. As a result, we have many empty addresses in the guest profiles.

  17. When you are in the process of booking a room you should be able to make a table reservation in the same process. The table reservation should be linked to an inventory.

  18. For hotels with multiple rooms with different occupancy rates, it would be very helpful if the search results in the booking engine would reflect the searched occupancy. Currently, this is not possible and rooms are always shown in the same order in the booking engine, no matter for how many people you want to book a room.

    Desired behavior: if you search for a room for 2 persons, 2-person rooms are shown at the top. But if you search for a 6-person room, the 6-person rooms should be shown at the top.

  19. Currently we are able to set up a booking engine for each bookable service, and even select which rooms/rates we want to display per engine. Works great!

    However, the only branding/names displayed in the booking engine are the company name, and the room type name.

    If you have double rooms in two different bookable services, under the same company. It get's a little bit confusing for the guest as to which actual place it is that they are booking.

    A custom name would be great, or an (optional) subheader with the bookable service name would also suffice.

  20. Guests would need to try and book slots hoping there is availability. In high demand services this would mean several tries to book a time slot until sucessful. Better option would be to allow properties to display their availability for hourly services too for a better UX
