Logo in Distributor to send to homepage
Property logo in the Distributor should take visitor to the property homepage.

If you wish to make your logo in the booking engine clickable, we recommend using the solution called “Distributor widget” which is basically a booking engine embedded in your web page.

Magic link for OCI
Magic links are a fast and secure tool for logging in to an account without password authentication. By including a magic link in confirmation emails, customers who create reservations through OTAs such as Booking.com could use that unique link to log in to their Mews Navigator accounts, update their email to correct one, confirm it using a magic link, and then complete online check-in before arrival.

Magic link are for quite while available for you as placeholders which you can simply add to your e-mail. (if you use our default reservation confirmation template it’s already there).We provide not only magic links for the online check-in but for messaging for example. Please find all magic link in the list of all placeholders for the emails here:

Hello,
thank all of you for picking up this topic – this feature has been released two weeks ago.
You can find this option in Settings > Stay > Operator configurations and “Options” section.
If you remove “Balance check enabled” tag, save and reboot tablet, all guests will be able to do checkin even with unpaid booking. And it doesn’t matter if credit card is attached to profile or not.
We are looking forward see your feedback on this and see, how we can improve this next time.

Automated OCI email to guests without payment details
An automated e-mail could be sent directly to the customers containing a link to Mews Navigator, where the customer can complete their user profile with payment details.

Mews Operator: All LEs
As guest fill in their registration card details using Mews Operator, they sometimes have fields listed that may not be legally required. So in order to simplify this process for as many guests as possible, registration card requirements could be based on each property's legal environment, which eliminates all unnecessary information so that guests can complete check-in and relax.

New rate comparison box for Distributor
"Properties may want to encourage their guests to book directly through their website using Mews Distributor, however those guests may want to compare their pricing options before they book anything. Introducing a rate comparison box could help highlight discounts for reservations made through your website in comparison to the higher prices available on competitors' sites."

Automatic settlement amount in Distributor
For automatic settlements via Mews Distributor, some users may find the total settlement amount to be unclear. Therefore, including this information in a more prominent way could be informative for all parties while also preventing any unwanted charges for future automatic transactions.
9 votesWe have added the settlement amount to the checkout screen in Distributor recently. We are planning more improvements in this area in the upcoming months.
