When a booker makes a reservation for someone else, they can never get access to a portal where they can change the reservation, or the language for each confirmation. Or get an overview of all their reservations.

Online Check-in QR code
Have a generic QR code to promote online check-in and enable guests to complete online check-in with their name and reservation number.
Guests do not always keep the emails sent, so the code could be displayed in the hotel lobby, if guests are standing in the check-in queue this could be a prompt to complete the online check-in and save them time.

Booker confirm quotation - Angebot Bestätigung durch Bucher
Booker should be able to confirm an optional reservation.
If you send a quotation to booker the confirm button is not active. Just the guest can use the button bor companies it is important that a booker can confirm. We are still working with emails if a company books several rooms for employees. Would be great to solve this. Many thanks3 votes -
Guest experience App
Guests can chat with us via the button in the booking confirmation, why is there no app or interface for guests to install on our tablets or guest phone so they can continue to chat with us during their stay?

Line spacing in product description in online check-in
When you write the description of a product, you can add spaces between lines of text. However when the description of the product is viewed in the online portal where the guest can purchase it, the spaces are removed and the text appears as a single block. HTML or markdown coding does not fix this. It would be good if the line spaces entered in the description were replicated in the guest portal.

enable sending specific rooms to book via booking engine
Properties want to be able to send a specific room with pictures and description to a guest so that the guest can have an ultimate decision to book a room. Mews allows properties to send a quote or reservation inquiry but it won't give the guest ability to see what the room looks like. Having pictures with description would bring additional value.

create automated guest messages, informing the guest that his room is ready for check-in.
If a guest arrives early and his room is not yet ready for check-in, it would be great to have an automated message, sent to the guest the moment his room is ready for check-in. This way the guest can leave the house again to explore the area and the moment, his room is ready, he will be notified and can come back to the hotel.

Email template placeholder for {bookable service}
Since Mews is doing such great work with bookable services. It would be great to be able to use a {bookable service} placeholder in the email templates.
Thank you for booking {spa treatment} at {hotel company name} sounds much better, doesn't it?

Add reservation status to Reservation details
In guest portal first screen, you can see an overview of reservations and clearly which one is cancelled. Once you enter into the Reservation details, the cancelled one does not state "Cancelled" so it can be confusing for the guest.

Collect business address / billing address
during check in (at reception, kiosk or online) or online check-out there need to be the option to fill in the business address.
At the moment there is only the possibility to add the personal address.

Prompt guests to make a donation when checking out online
We are a charity who provide accommodation for people at a greatly subsidised cost. We would like the online check out to prompt/ask guests if they would like to make a donation during the online check out process and to ask if they are Gift Aid eligible as part of that. It is similar to retailers who ask you to donate when paying online to their chosen charities and would make a huge difference to us.

Send message to FO and HK when a guest Checks out online
When using online Check out, clients do not necessary come to reception.
The Housekeeping and Front office teams struggle to know where the clients are.
Sometimes they check out and stay in the room (C/O is done but they just stay in the room till the very end) or they leave but no one knows when which makes the operations team lose precious time for HK to clean the room.
Ideally once the guest has checked out online, a task or a message is triggered which provide all the information necessary to the teams:

Online check-in is only displayed when all persons are complete
The green sign shows up when all the guest completed the online check in. Thats rarly the case often we need just the date of birth of the second person and then the guest gets asked the normal registration form because nobody looked up the pre filled in regestrion card.

Offer different room categories and confirm only one of them
We offer a guest different room categories and send him this in an offer.
Now it must be possible for him to confirm only one category and reject all others.

Selecting Add on Product Early Check-in or Late Checkout Changes the Arrival or Departure Time
When selecting an early check-in or late check-out product, it would be good if the system could change either the arrival time or departure time to make the product selected. This would save time and notify us when the guest is arriving earlier rather that search to see who purchased the early arrival product.

Pull Guest Information from Apple Pay to Mews
Apple Pay stores information such as address, email, phone number on the phone of the guest. Apple Pay also allows sharing this information with 3rd party application.
It would be great if Mews can pull this information to get the information from the guest and further automate the journey for the guest.
