  1. I wish we had the possibility to sort the "customer profile" list by names.

    When customers book a room with us through some of the booking sites, it automatically creates a brand new profile. So we can have one guest with: multiple upcoming- and past bookings, but he has them spread over 8 different profiles. This makes it hard to find bookings, payments, bills and contact information. It is important for us to merge them, so we can collect all his information on one profile.

    It is also annoying for the returning guests if we did not manage to merge…

  3. Isolating the digital signature functionality and enabling it to operate as a standalone feature would be ideal for check-ins handled by reception staff. This way, we can avoid using paper registration cards and simply use a tablet instead.

  5. Wir würden gerne unsere Gäste klassifizieren. Viele der vorhandenen Klassifizierungen sind aber nicht wirklich sinnvoll. Daher bitten wir darum, diese ändern oder neue erstellen zu können um die für unsere Gäste sinnvollen Merkmale hinterlegen zu können.

  6. When a guest enters their preferred email address during online check-in, if that email address is already assigned to an existing profile, Mews does not merge the profiles, but instead adds the email address to the profile that is performing online check-in, so that staff can choose to merge them later.

    It would be really useful it Mews could automatically create a task when this happens so that staff can be alerted to there being potentially mergeable profiles.

  7. We have a bookable service for beach chairs. When guest book this throughout their stay it creates an entirely new booking which influences our repeat business reporting and the guest profile stats on how frequently the guest has stayed.

  8. Have blacklisted guests report that can be exported and that includes the date of the first time the guest was marked as blacklisted (or allow to close bills and merge profiles when the guest is on the blacklist)

  9. Add a button or checkbox in address details to mark them as "primary".
    Currently only the address entered last is marked as primary. To change an existing address to primary the address needs to be entered again manually.
    Therefore I sugggest a simple checkbox within the address edit view to mark an existing address as primary to the profile.

  10. Het is momenteel enkel mogelijk om gastprofielen te filteren op land, het zou fijn zijn als dit ook gefilterd kan worden op stad. Zo kunnen we altijd bijhouden hoeveel procent er uit eigen stad geboekt wordt.

  11. When you make a new reservation and add details such as name, email etc. In the first window make it mandatory to choose nationality aswell.
    ge the system to recognise country codes in phone numbers in reservations and add nationality autoamtically. For example +46 for sweden.

  14. Some third parties send reservation details in all capital letters. When merging profiles for these reservations, it would be nice to have an option to convert text to 'proper language', i.e. convert JOHN SMITH to John Smith. Staff are currently manually adjusting the text in these profiles.

Small Bug report: when opening the mail queue items from the dashboard of a guest profile that does not have an email address associated all mail queue items are retrieved (accross all profiles). I guess due to the fact that the SQL Query filters for the email address. Hence when empty all mail queue items are retrieved.
    The system should check if an email address is on file, if not decline to open the mail queue item list giving an error that an email address must be provided.

  16. The rates on registration card shouldn't appear for the bookings made through travel agency or any other third-party bookings. When we choose to show the rates on registration card and print all the card from reservation overview the rates appear for the all category of booking. Please assist with the same.

  19. Bitte bieten Sie die Möglichkeit, alle Gästenamen und die Aufteilung auf die Zimmer einzugeben, damit die Anreise gut vorbereitet werden kann (z.B. Kurkarten,...). Auch bei Stammgästen muss immer wieder der zweite Name neu eingetragen werden.

  20. It would be great if you can restrict the guest information that is returned for a certain AccessToken.
    We have an inquiry that our customer wants to see limited guest profile data (only guest name and room number) in our software and not the whole guest information like addresses, communication information, etc...

    Therefore it would be helpful, when such a filter can be configured on Mews side.
