Add all the guest names to the confirmation letter
For travel purposes, especially because of a mandatory hotel quarantine, government agencies need to see the names of all the guests that will stay with us. The names should be added to the confirmation letter. You can create a new placeholder or add their names to the reservation details placeholder.

Put the guest title in the guest's own language
And send all e-mails to them automatically in their language, I don't know if this is the case with all languages and with all custom e-mails now.

e-mail templates per segment
At the moment the e-mails that are sent from the system are one size fits all. However, the tone of voice and info in e-mails towards guest differs per segment. It would be nice to set up different templates per segment.

cancelation of booker
I would like a new model templates. I need the cancellation of booker.
When the booker cancel the room for their boss, collegue or trainee it's impossible to send us the confirmation of cancellation.
It's easy for you to do that quickly.

Verification (3DS) email
The email our guests receive state “ "We can't process your payment for Merlet until it has been verified. Unfortunately, if it's not verified in 24 hours, your order could be canceled" we think is is not very welcoming, especially in these challenging times. Is is possible to personalize or change this message?.

Mews "Profile creation/Customer added" email - Template
When a new guest file is created, the following mail is automatically sent to the guest. From my point of view there are the following possibilities for improvement:
- The mail should be written more individually (ex. salutation and other text). It would be helpful if there is a separate template for this.

Email Templates Based on Day Of Week Arrival (to inform about upcoming events)
The ability to send out customized emails based on the day of the week a guest is arriving.
As a hotel that offers different events and tours during the week, we want to be able to notify a guest prior to their arrival with information that is pertinent to their stay & experience only.
Ie:
Guest is arriving monday.
They get email telling them about Monday Night Event, Tuesday Day Event, Tuesday Evening Event.Guest arriving on Wednesday.

Separate template for quotation
Quotation now shares a mail template with optional reservation. They should be separate in order to make good use of the quotation function in commander. Without a separate mail template, the quotation function is worthless in my opinion.

Removing products from confirmations STR
If a property works heavily with packages, the confirmation clients receive are not aesthetically pleasing. All products are listed in the confirmation and it is not ideal.

Optional: Charge success (Payment e-mail receipt) after payment
Guests complain sometimes that there are too many e-mails before arrival. When we ask, was there anything they found really unnecessary, they often refer to payment receipt e-mail. It doesn't even include the invoice. When booking, they accept the terms and know the payment will be taken from cc. Mostly they have also instant notification from bank to phone. Can we make this e-mail optional, please? Would be perfect if client can choose this option.

Add extra text to mail
It would be welcome to add soms extra text in the confirmation email. So if you make a booking over the phone you can add extra text in the confirmation email regarding the client's booking.

Disable Messaging
Please make the Messages/chatfunction optional or opt-out.
We don't want to use this tool to communicate since we now have to keep an eye on yet another system. Next to our socials, Whatsapp, mail, phone etc. etc.38 votesHello from the Mews product team. Default email language
Right now as we know Booking.com guests are assigned unique Alias emails for communication/profiles. If a guest receives a confirmation email (despite the property being in German for example) the email is automatically sent in English as Mews will by default sent it in English to any profile that does not have a language associated to it.
This is despite the property being in a German environment.

Reservation Confirmation Details
To be able to choose which fields are visible in the reservation confirmation. It would be great to uncheck some of the values, such as rate name or product for certain costumers, but currently you can only delete the entire row (reservation detail) which is not an option.

Include cancellation policies in reservation confirmation email
Would be great if cancellation policies can be added in reservation details mentioned in booking confirmation received by customer.
Like this, he is fully aware of specific cancellation policies, even if booking directly with hotel via phone or email.76 votes -
