Adding an option for guests to make a donation (multiples of $2) to a selected charity (Red Cross or Regional Fire Association etc) at the booking Summary or Check out stage of their booking; similar to airlines and PayPal booking portals.   4. The client would like to see the following actions to be done via the Zap for a Company rather than a single Customer record in Mews:

    Create Company
    Update Company
    Find or Create Company

    A sample use case would be they would like to create a company profile in Mews through the Zap instead of individual customers.

  6. We want to be able to sell a product for example a tour/certain event/vouchers separately from a room reservation. We also want to be able to specifically choose certain dates when these products (tours) are available.

  7. Ability for custom guest apps to add and update customer photos via Connector API. It should be possible to add a base64 image to a customer profile via customer add / update Connector API endpoint

  8. suite au développement de ancv de leur paiement connect avec chipie for e-commerce j'aimerais bien offrir au client la nouvelle possibilité de paiement de leur séjour avec leur chèques vacances ANCV directement en ligne via the ancv shopID. this would mean that beside the credit card paiement they could choose to pay online with the reservation with a connection to ancv directly their reservation over mews distributor. you can call the connection team of ancv +33969320616

  9. A great feature would be the ability to set a Printer (set up through mews connector) as an export target.

    For example, to automatically print the breakfast list each morning at 06:00 on the printer in the breakfast room.

    The format of the report would have to be the same as if you print it manually through the product report.

  10. The hotel should be notified by email when a guest makes a modification or cancelation of his booking on Mews Distributor (same logic as when a guest makes a booking).

    The call never returns any CompanionIds within a reservation. The companions have been added both, by API Call and via the MEWS frontend

  13. Booker for Distributor: The email address should not be a mandatory field as the assistants do not know each single email address of all employees they are doing reservations for. At the moment they are using the same email address for different guests. So the guest profiles are overwritten anytime. If we are creating reservations manually, the email address is also not a mandatory field. It should be enough to have the email address of the booker. That is the only way to use the distributor valueable for corporate guests.

    Hi Mewsers,
    for all booking done by booker, you can now configure whether the guest e-mail is mandatory or optional.
    We recommend to keep guest’s e-mail required but if you need to set guests e-mail optional, here is how to do it:

    1. Go to Settings > Stay > Distributor configurations and select the configuration from the list.

    2. In the configuration scroll down to field:
    “Guest email (when booker is not a guest) *” and select “Optional” option.

    With this set up only booker’s e-mail will be required on the “Details” page.

  14. We should be able to retrieve and use the guest preferred space features with the customer profile using the API. This would allow the guest to update these information from external integrations and this data could be used to offer customized services according to these preferences, like available spaces to offer in case the guest want to change its assigned space

  15. It would be very useful if we were able to export to Excel the customer profiles (filtered by company name). The goal is to have a clean data base for emailing segmentation.

    We can add the company in the profile but there is no use behind this.

  16. iDeal is an external payment type in Mews Commander, however we cannot send an external payment via the API with this payment type and has to be listed in the notes.

    Packages in Mews are created by applying product rules to rates. These rules define which and how many products are added/removed from a given reservation. You can now retrieve all product rules configured at a property using the Get all rules endpoint.

  18. Nikki here, reaching out from Zapier Support. One or more of our mutual customers has requested a new feature in your app.

    Specifically, they'd like to be able to trigger a Zap off when a new guest checks in at a Mews kiosk (in order to send notifications to their team that the guest has arrived).

  19. At the moment it is possible to add a note to a reservation when creating it. It is not possible to update the note, but that's already covered here(https://feedback.mews.com/forums/919087-marketplace-app-store-integrations/suggestions/36660829-connector-api-update-reservation-with-notes).

    Since a reservation can have multiple nodes it would be really nice if we had a create note endpoint which can add extra nodes to a reservation.

    The value of the Notes of a reservation can be retrieved via Get all reservations. Using Update reservation, that value can be extended to include any additional notes to be added to the reservation.

  20. In our MEWS Distributor we have a widget comparing our prices with booking.com / expedia / hotels.com: "Book online, get more"
    I would like to be able to change this text. I would like to change it into "Book online, pay less" and change "prices" in "rates"
